Fantastic paper!
This paper can take water, I mean water! It feels thicker than it is, can take lifting and layering and a good amount of scrubbing before it begins to damage. I was practicing on multi media paper but you can’t, you need good or better paper to see how your brushes perform because if your paper is not doing what water color paper is supposed to do your whole experience is off and makes you think it is you when it has a lot to do with your supplies-you cannot mimic what you are watching other artists get if your supplies are not of the quality of that which you are watching/huge difference in your experience not because of your skill but because of your materials fighting you. This paper is super reasonable, I used both tablets to learn in, perfecting strokes, seeing what different brushes did and how pigments reacts differently on good vs crappy paper with heavy water loads, washes and wet in wet. This is good paper to learn on and good paper to continue on until you go to cotton or the like.Super happy and am buying another set of two to do flower studies to further drawing and painting skills. I figure by the end of these two I should feel confident enough to put money into more expensive paper if I feel the need but honestly this is wonderful, thick, on the smooth side (you won’t get the textured dry drag look) paper that does what you want good paper to do at a price that allows you to just doodle and feel free to express without feeling you are wasting “good” ie expensive paper.

Great size, excellent paper!
This size works well for sketches & doodles. Paper is thick and can also be used for watercolor and acrylic.

Good quality for a good price
Good quality paper and good price. I like for mixed media sketchbook. Paper is preforated easy to remove page or left in book. Nice hard cover and sturdy spiral bound. Will be back to buy another.

Worth it
This book is a really good sketch book. Pages are thick, sturdy and take paint well. There’s a little bit of warping when you use water to paint but it’s not bad and can easily be flattened with weight

Great Sketchbook Deal
I bought this pack so I could do a daily watercolor 2021 paint journal that had decently high quality paper, a hard cover, a half or quarter size paper surface for smaller paintings, spirals so I could lay it flat and deal with one page at a time, and lots and lots of pages. This 3-pack fit that bill. Arteza is being heavily marketed and I think, from what I've encountered of their products, it's a middle grade product for amateur artists or hobbyists. Definitely a huge step up from beginner grade or discount products like Artist Loft. It takes wet-on-wet technique with minimal curling (I do keep it down with a binder clip during painting) and it dries with fairly negligible warpage. I like the grain, I like the weight, and I actually like how the water sits on the paper. Compared to my Canson Montval watercolor paper, I actually like this one a lot better. As you can see, the blend, spread, and vibrancy of the paints (Paul Reubens, 24) looks good on the paper. It also takes ink, acrylic, and gouache really well. No bleed. The only real drawback, which I hadn't realized is that I'd say you can't paint on both sides. The back of the paper is smoother and doesn't seem to have the same finish, so I'm not confident adding paint there. Also, unlike my Canton paper, my very standard washi tape doesn't come off the paper clean. It does lift some of the paper texture, whether wet or dry. The washi still protected the paper from my paint, but the tape stripped that top layer of however the paper gets sealed and left the more pulpy bit left behind. Not a huge deal. It didn't tear a lot off or noticeably. It just wasn't perfect.Pros:-Value for quality and quantity-Heavy paper-Good grain and feel-Takes water with minimal warping/curling-Perforated sheets, if you want to take pages outCons:-Not for double-sided painting-Washi tape strips paper surface some-PERSONAL: While the hard cover is sturdy, I don't like the surface feelI personally wouldn't buy it again so that I could try a different product and compare, but I would recommend it to other people looking for a solid product and not satisfied with others they've tried.

Been using it for years, wish it was available in Europe again
Amazing item! I have been using this for years, the paper is great and can endure a lot of water/wet mediums and this is the only watercolor sketchbook I could find in this format. I wish they would put it back in the british/french/Europeans shops though because the transatlantic shipping fees are a lot...

Fantastic paper.
Been watercoloring for over 4 yrs and this paper is beautiful. Great texture and it behaves very well! I bought it for my sloppy copy practice pieces and love it. I don't agree with the dissatisfied customer's video about the paint sitting still. It looks to me that the paint used in the video is a high staining color that doesn't lift easily. I've had no problems with this paper and as long as they don't begin to cut corners and cheapen quality will definitely buy again.

Great price for great quality!
These sketchbooks are perfect for small watercolor projects. The paper is great quality; it does not bleed or mute the colors. The paper holds up well to erasing and wet on wet technique. They travel easy and the pages stay in the ring binding. I will be buying these again.
