Swan SH16340N Al Fresco Wall Mounted Electric Patio Heater with Remote Control, Garden and Outdoor Heating, 1800W, Aluminium

I've tried a few of these. This one is really nicely made - proper quality. The control is simply on or off, so it works well without trying to be too clever. Main thing: very hot, even too hot! I have it about 1.5m above a dining table outside, and it's hot under it, and warm around the table area. I'm sure it will be good when it gets really cold outside. Very well made, very effective, good quality, happy with this.

This heater is a nice size , not too big but gives off lots of heat and it’s pretty much instant too, very easy to install and really good value for the price , very pleased

Bought with the intention of being able to have people around outside over the next few months as lockdown eases. We have a veranda in front of the kitchen, so was able to wall mount it so it's pointing down over our outside table/chairs.Having chopped the moulded plug off the end, I routed the cable back through a small hole in the kitchen uPVC frame and into a newly fitted fused spur.The cable is about 1.7m long tops (once you've lopped the plug off) so bare that in mind.Seems to kick out a good directional heat, but it's 4 degrees C outside tonight so difficult to gauge if it will be 'enough' for the spring evenings.There is no option to dial the heat down (I thought some reviews mentioned 600w/1200w/1800w - this is literally on or off).

Like so many people I've made a small outdoor space to allow me to meet with a friend or two in the garden during coronavirus restrictions. Trouble is the weather! Although my space is covered, it just wasn't warm enough to sit out unless we had a fire in the fire pit, and then everybody ends up smelling like smoke. This little heater really did the trick. It's brilliant at taking the edge off the chill, though if I had it to do over again, I'd probably put it lower down on the wall so the heat can reach more of the space. Really pleased with this and have recommended it to a couple of friends looking for the same thing.

Fitted it to the outside brick wall. Not sure that the direction adjustment works as it should. I'm sure their is a simpler way to adjust the angle of the heater. I have managed to fix it in one position, and it works well and provides heat nicely to those sitting near it

Perfect. Fitted to a balcony ceiling and covers the entire area (8m x 6m) with heat.Fitting took 5 minutes.

Heat seems good but model shown and recieved differ and no remote as indicated
