looks great with ubiquiti gear
ups was easy to install and wire up,smart connect feature is pretty useless without paid subscription so opt for the 9641 NMC card to monitor and send alerts to devices to shut down if power outage is prolongedhave a full 12u rack running off of it. gives me about 30-40 minutes of battery when everything is running. nvr, server, switch and other accessoriessignificantly lighter in weight and shorter depth than the lead acid counterpart

Smart functions require a paid subscription!
Stupid expensive. Works well. "Smart" functions only work for a couple of months before requiring a paid subscription. For the price, basic network monitoring should not cost more $$.

It is very reliable
I am using to power a rack. It works !! Design is great too. It replaces a traditional one which lasted 3 years

Does not include correct mounting hardware!
Have now bought two of these (2U lithium) and both of them came with the same bag of completely incorrect mounting hardware. The rack ears are clearly for a 3U device and the screw holes on them don't line up with anything on the UPS. There are also no screws suitable to mount the front faceplate (they are all too large). I called APC and they *insist* the bag of items sent with the UPS is correct -- IT IS NOT.APC used to be great and I have bought many of their UPSes through the years. They are completely incompetent now.DO NOT BUY.

It does the job, but costs too much and the software should never have released
A $1,000 UPS shouldn’t cost me hours of labor to troubleshoot how to set up. Can’t get to the web interface, can’t install firmware updates. It comes with a CD-ROM. It’s the year 2024 and I have to find a way to use the CD to finish setting this thing up. Beautiful in my rack and quiet at least.

SmartConnect feature does NOT provide remote management
This is a very nicely designed unit, especially if you've ever used an anvil-heavy UPS that you could never move...and that started to stink when when the batteries got old!+ It's relatively light, and fits well into the bottom shelf of my server rack. Note: Another reviewer complained about the rear mounting hardware. These don't attach to the UPS itself, but to the rear rails, providing "shelf-type" support if the unit can't sit on the bottom shelf. APC clearly recommends that it be positioned at the bottom, below all other equipment. On mine, the front ears are screwed into the rails, but it also sits on the bottom shelf, so I didn't need to use the rear mounting hardware.+ It's a nice-looking unit, with an easy-to-use LCD display/control panel. (You can set it to always on, auto dim, or off.) For those that don't like the silver faceplate, it'd take about a half-hour to take it off and spray paint it whatever color you like.+ It was instantly recognized by my Synology NAS when connected via USB. Though I have it protecting all my network equipment, safe shutdown only matters for the NAS, and that's managed by the NAS itself, with no configuration in the UPS. So in my application, its most important function is essentially plug-n-play.+ It has a TON of configurable options if you need them. BUT HERE"S THE CATCH: the SmartConnect port, which would seem to be a regular ethernet port, does NOT give you network management capabilities. Once you register and create an account on APC's site, you can "monitor" your UPS from their website, i.e., see some product info and get a current status report, as in "Healthy." Honestly, it's next to useless.+ You can't access or configure the UPS over your local network, nor can you do any configuration through SmartConnect. For browser-based configuration, you must either add a network management card for a few hundred dollars more, or connect a computer directly to the UPS via its one USB port and install their PowerChute software on that computer. Otherwise, all configuration is done by using the buttons and LCD display on the front of the case.+ I wasn't "cheated" because it doesn't actually have network configuration....I could have discovered this with more thorough product research before buying. My bad. But I am disappointed that the touted "cloud-connected" and "SmartConnect" features are such duds. I wish they'd made it very clear what SmartConnect doesn't do, and offer the network management card as a P.O.S. upgrade for those who want network management. Live and learn, I guess! My area has somewhat sketchy power. I haven't yet had the opportunity to see the UPS in action when we have an outage or flickering, but I'll update my review if there's anything notable to report.

Solid unit
Considering the weight I would have liked full rail support and the rear universal 6” rack ears are a bit of a joke. Otherwise it’s a solid unit.I wish I could tell you why the MMC card costs $400 and shame on APC for making this cloud managed only. If you don’t opt for the MMC card it still has a network connection but very limited options via APCs portal. Needs a paid subscription to manage properly, maybe that why the MMC card costs so much. Pay up front or pay overtime, either way APC gets your money. With everything in the rack it runs about 54 minutes and considering this is Sinewave it still sets off the Panamax alarms when tripped.
