One of world's oldest musical instruments
This is a bullroarer which makes a unique sound when swinging the oblong wood stick. There are instructions on how to do this. that came with the package and a little linen cloth bag. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and I was able to make the bullroar sound. I reccommend using this outdoors as you need lots of room to swing it around. This is great to use in a drum circle. You can find Drum Circles through Meetup.com and just google drum circles for your area. This came with easy fast shipment and overall very satisfied with the process.

Spins very well bigger than expected
When you start using it, you need to have it flailed by the side and turned until it's spinning on its own. Then when you get it going it'll rotate itself and go rdsrdrdrdrd. The sheer amount of effort it takes though is insane.

It's okay
It's cute and I really like the little bag. But it's a disappointing 'roar.' You've got to do a lot to get a breathy little whir.

Great Bullroarer
Had to buy one for a gift, as I use mine often, and want to share the joy.

Needs improvement & sanitizing
I think the string needs to be longer or something it’s not very loud. Maybe to get it louder you could tie it to an air plane propeller. Kinda disappointed in this product. It was all molded in the package it was made in India who know what kind of bacteria was all in the packaging. I washed it with hot water and soap hope I don’t get some kind of illness from touching it .

Add 18"-24" of line
The media could not be loaded. The line it comes with is way too short. You have to really strain to spin it fast enough. If you add 18"-24" of line it's way easier to spin and is a lot louder

Good for beginners
I wish I had reviewed the videos on how to make these. This one is small, it's not made with regular wood and it's very lightweight and regardless of how hard you spin it, it's very quiet.Instructions on how to make ones, they recommend a heavier hardwood and all the instructions I have seen to make one, they're much longer and even the cord is longer.Good for beginners but I look forward to carving my own soon.
