Lapguard Half Lead Apron Size Large

Dental hygienist here. I put this on & take it off about once every hour. It’s not too heavy, covers my growing baby, and is durable. Only wish it was velcro instead, but it probably wouldn’t last as long as I think this will.

The size Large is probably what everyone should get - it is adjustable so you can size down for smaller waists (I am 5'8" girl and thought about getting S or M; glad I got Large - the point is to cover your body, after all). You can ride it up so that it covers much of your torso, too.

My husband had radiation and his grand kids could not sit on his lap but the apron has allowed him to hold his grand kids without concern for their safety. I reccomnend highly.

my dad had brachytherapy for prostate cancer. it made him radioactive for 6 months. he puts it on his lap when people come over or the dog tries to sit on his lap.

I bought this for my husband to wear after brachy therapy so our little Yorkie could still sit in his lap. It is heavy and hopefully it's doing its job. I was very pleased with it.

Very handy. Kept the dog from being affected by radiation.
