I've bought so many of these. It's just an amazing piece of kit. Easy to install. Work a charm. Never had an issues. Being an electrician and having customers that want a switch moved but won't pay the price for chases down walls then this is the one for you. Looks modern and does the job. Trust me this is perfect. The reach on the remote is just nuts. Great for external installations to.

Great product, works as advertised, however... The two connection blocks supplied with it are useless; the orange levers to make the connections snapped on both long before they'd secured the wires, so I had to resort to old-school connection blocks. Not a problem as I had some in the workshop anyway, but if you're not an engineer yourself then get some in ahead of time. Also, if you're installing the receiver up in the loft above the light fitting, make sure you take the switch with you to pair it up after connecting - I forgot and had to go back down to get it, not a major problem though as you should be flipping the breaker rather than working on a live circuit, so you'd have to go back down anyway to power the circuit back up ;) One last recommendation - at some point you'll need to replace the battery in the switch, so I'd recommend using velcro dots to attach it to the wall, rather than the double-sided tape supplied with it. You could secure it to the wall through the single screw hole, however the slot to release/open the case is on the back, so I don't see how you'd be able to open/remove it after you've clipped it into the backplate, also, with it only being a single screw hole, there's scope for the switch to pivot around the single screw, especially if used by kids. All-in-all though, I'd definitely buy one again if the need arises, great product for the price :)

Easy to install and set it up inside an outdoor fused spur box to power outside wall led lights, drilled a small hole at the bottom of the fused spur box so the unit/receiver aerial could protrude out. Remote signal controller for on/off function works great from inside house. Just be sure to pair the unit as per the instruction or it will not work.

This works well, range is good. Pairing was easy (but don't forget to do it before you close all your junction boxes up)I've used this as a manual override for a PIR-triggered security light where I couldn't add cores/cables to the existing mains wiring. If you're planning on doing the same thing, you'll be happy to know that the neutrals are common and NOT switched. This means you can wire them both into the same Wago/chocbox connector in your junction box and run a single neutral from this to the PIR, reducing the number of cores needed in the cable from 5 to 4.

This was easy to fit and set up. Works a treat and am very happy with it. Great value for money and looks great.

I wanted a 2nd light switch at the newly added door to my garage that already had a switch at the up and over door. I looked at the length of new cable plus a new switch and then needed to understand the wiring logic. I found the Thinkbee and it was so simple to fit and not much different in price for the hard wiring option. Works beautifully.
