I love the product, after reading the different reviews and see some disappointed people I would like to share my experience. The product performs best to do a espresso, for lungos it doesn't work as well, they feel too light.Preparation steps I followed:I added coffee and gently pressed it with the spon included on the package, when I pressed too hard the water didn't go through and only got some drops on coffee.I filled the pod, leaving room to add the lid + a bit more spaceI used illy coffee and love the results !!I would buy it again !

I previously owned a set capsules that used aluminium stickers to cover the capsules and while OK, were not user friendly and clumsy to use. The Cafilas change that as the stainless steel cover works perfectly and makes prep and cleanup a breeze. The lids also have an aerator for the water that really helps with the crema. I really like these and have found that by filling the capsule to the brim with coffee and just tap the capsule on the countertop a few times will gently compact the coffee perfectly without the use of a tamper. I found a tamper actually makes the coffee too dense to the point that the Nespresso machine cannot pump thru.I have very good results with this product and use them daily.

We are opposed to pods, in principle (sustainability) and because they are more expensive than loose coffee. I bought cheaper plastic reusable espresso pods, but they did not produce crema and made bitter coffee. These work very well, and with Lavazza coffee, they are just as good as their pods.What I would complain about is the ridiculous price for two. I mean really? But if you can justify the price, they do work well.

The media could not be loaded. The idea is fantastic. In actuality, the coffee quality is absolutely terrible. It does not produce a Krema. Even with the smallest size pull through the capsule, the coffee is weak. It is clearly not an espresso in terms of taste, strength, or quality.My daughter is a barista at a coffee shop. And she understands the proper steps of making espresso and she cannot get this to work. It is not possible to tamp these grounds. I have no idea how to use the device any different than how I show in the video. The demonstration video on Amazon is vague and they don’t show the end product.To be clear. The end product is an extraordinarily watery cup of pseudo coffee.I like a good cup of coffee, and I love espresso. This device makes absolutely terrible coffee.I could not feel more misled or ripped offI would be happy to revise this review if someone could provide me a video that shows me how to make better coffee using this capsule.

Very easy to use. I have a Nespresso machine and it fits perfectly. I'm so happy with this product!!!!

Yes, I like the ease of the ones you buy but it was breaking the bank! I have saved a lot of money with these. Lightly pack them with your favorite espresso ground!

Why would you supply a scoop that doesn't fill the cup precisely? And why is one side flat, and the other side round?Also, I would make the scoop from metal for sturdiness.As for the coffee: it's important to use a regular coffee grind. A fine espresso doesn't work well.Sometimes you get a bit of crèma, but never anything like the conventional cups.I would not buy this again.
