A friend of my husband who is from Sri Lanka bought me a box of this tea a few years ago. I now cannot drink any other brand of black tea. If you like a quality tea, this is it.

Dilmah Premium Ceylon Black Tea makes a pretty nice and smooth cup of black tea. This is a slight step above most tea bag teas. Although composed of fine fanning particles, the flavor profile is complex, rich, and a bit fruity.Due to being composed of finely broken leaf pieces, the tea Infuses rapidly in boiled water. As with most Ceylon black tea, the liquor is a beautiful reddish brown, and quite dark in the cup. With cream, the tea takes on a lovely warm pinkish hue.I took off one star because the bags are just loose in the box, with no individual wrappers to keep them fresh. Once the cellophane wrapper on the box is opened, these tea bags will lose their flavor quite fast. I will have to find a tin to keep them in to prevent that.For those seeking a simple cup of easily infused black tea, perhaps for afternoon tea at the office, for social gatherings like service after church, or for serving at a party with cakes and pastries, these Dilmah tea bags make a good option.
