Beautiful, economical and easy to use
This will become my default framing material. Without power tools, I found metal framing difficult to work with and will continue to frame in wood often, even after I acquire the tools. Attractive wood, perfectly fits my glass and I received twice as much of this material for the same price as my last zinc purchase.

Beautiful Wood
I purchased this to finish off a stained glass window I made as a gift. The wood was nice, not a bunch of defects. The size of the groove was spot on and it painted up beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

Would not buy again
The four pieces of soft pine wood I received, measuring 1” x 3/4” x 36” with 1/4” grooves, were disappointing. The wood is minimal, and unfortunately, my stained glass does not fit the 1/4” groove. Given the high price you pay, I would recommend considering a frame shop instead.

Quality vs. Price
I enjoy framing my stained glass pieces but haven’t done it in 10 years or so. I decided to do a large piece last month and bought this frame for around $45. I was disappointed. Two of the four framing pieces were poor quality (see photos) and none of them were “finished”. They were rough and required a fair amount of sanding. They also do not come with assembly hardware. All you get is the frame. If I knew all of this, I would have made a different buying decision.

I would buy again...
Product is pre-sanded and great for stained glass copper foil 1/8... Groove is deep enough to allow for expansion/compression based on weather temperatures..
