These work great for dry eyes

I was told by my eye doc that I needed to start eye drops and once you start, you cannot stop. My eyes were dry after cataract surgery and the dryness was effecting my vision. He said I could try fish oil and see if it would help. I found these and decided to buy one bottle and if I saw a difference I would continue them, if not I would do the drops. After one bottle I could see clearly and no more dry eyes. It's been at least 2 years and I still don't need drops! I love PureEncapsulations!

I've been told in the past I needed to take fish oils, but on trying other brands had issues with fishy burps and no improvement anyway. This particular brand was recommended by my Lasik surgeon to manage dry eyes post surgery, and they've become essential to my life. There is no unpleasant taste or burps. They clearly help out with dry eye, to the point that I can feel if I've missed them for a day. In fact, even if I take them when my eyes are feeling already sore and dry I generally notice an improvement within the hour, although I have no earthly idea how that's possible so maybe it's just a placebo effect.Regardless, as someone who tried and was unimpressed by various fish oils over the years, these have blown me away with how much relief they can help provide for dry eye symptoms. They're expensive but well worth the price for me.

Took for macular health principle. I believe this helped with makeing my eye more alert and attentive. Attentive being with the mind. Slang like term would be eye horn. The review said makes you pee stinky too. Then my belief is yes it makes eye horn work.

I don’t by any means think that my reaction to taking this Omega-3 is common, but I want others to know in case they have the same problem. I started taking the recommended dosage following my doctor’s instructions for dry eye on June 1st. Early July I noticed that I was shedding. By July 23rd it was so noticeable that my ponytail was much thinner. I thought, maybe my age, maybe I needed to go to the doctor for bloodwork. But, it was so sudden and intense…then on August 20th it finally hit me. The only change I had made was taking the Omega-3. So I did a little online research and I found others that experienced rapid hair loss from taking it. I stopped immediately and today is Sept. 3 and my hair is back to normal and has stopped falling out. I fully expect it to all grow back. Fortunately, I started with very thick hair!I can say, this product did not cause me to burp or any stomach discomfort. I’m not sure it helped with my dry eye or arthritis, but I was willing to give it a go. I certainly wanted it to work.UPDATE: Today is 9/9 and I reached up to straighten my hair with my hands to put it in a ponytail. No shedding!! Like I said, I don’t think loosing hair is a common side affect, but if anyone has the same issue, I want to put the info out there!

I have to use eyedrops for glaucoma 4 times a day. My eyes have become dry and irritated. At the same time they are frequently teary. I complained to my eye doctor and he expressed my meibomian glands in my eyelids and informed me that the secretions were way too thick. I have started a program of using the Bruder microwavable eye mask, Ocusoft eyelid wipes, and VisionPro EPA/DHA/GLA supplement. My eyes are less irritated now and the constant tearing has all but stopped. Seems the lipid secretions have thinned out and are doing a better job of lubricating my eye surface. As an unexpected side effect, I have less joint pain now that I am taking VisionPro. I agree with other comments that the supplement seems a bit expensive, but often in life you get what you pay for and since this supplement appears to be working for me I intend to keep taking it.

I bought these supplements to help with dry eye (left) on recommendations from my brother-in-law (who is a doctor). Within a couple of days my dry eye symptoms significantly decreased. I've had increasing problems with my left eye for a number of years, so may still need to address the issues with an optometrist, but the supplements are helping. I will be re-ordering when these are gone. These may not be the cheapest but are definitely high quality.

This item is non returnable and impossible to use. The capsules are all stuck together and they will not separate without damaging each one.
