Motor is amazing. I also have a Nutramilk food processor. It take 8 to ten min. for the same food items that take 30 sec to a minute in this machine. The Blixer is great for making purées and can also make a fine powder. I make smoothies in the robot coupe (without adding any water), then freeze dry them, and then blend it into a powder for easy storage and consumption.

I thoroughly researched, and communicated with associated representatives of this product prior to making such an investment, which was a significant one for me. I’ve been using the processor to make hummus, and I could not have been any happier upon first using it! It cut my production time and produced a smooth creamy consistency. The downside? It’s only been 2 months since using it (and not even regularly) and the consistency of the hummus has begun to come out more grainy...this then requires more time processing, which in turn heats up the machine and that is NOT a good thing!

I use this Machine at work (nursing home) we have had this one for less than a year and already have had to get a new blade for it twice. The spindle sleeve inside the blade is made from plastic.
