While the majority of my power tools are rechargeable, many of the smaller ones are not. Electrical testers, headlamp, laser distance gauges, etc...These batteries are well worth the money. I was buying 2 Costco packs of batteries every 6-8 weeks. This product basically paid for itself in about 4 months. Wonderful investment and much less impact on the environment.My son loves how easy the charger is to use and says the batteries seem to outlast standard one when used in his wireless gaming controllers.I am considering buying a second quick charger to have near his gaming setup because he has been so impressed. (And so he isn't always taking mine from my shop. )As far as durability is concerned they seem to be great. I droptools from time to time dropped a few AAA batteries on a concrete floor when I was rushing. The batteries were not affected as far as I can tell. The true test has been my 10 year oud who has a knack for destroying every piece of tech he gets his hands on. He hasnt been able to burt the charger (despite dropping it twice) or any of the batteries yet.I am definitely going to purchase more of thes in the future.

So after watching all the reviews I went on a limb and decided to go for it.So I got what appears to he the 86A model and the box says 8AA and 6AAAThere are 6 of each so I got just what I ordered although one can understand the frustration with the count numbers.I suspect that the case it comes in is basically modifiable and the cover is just something they add after the fact.Batteries look damn solid, charger very well built and the individual LEDs for each slot makes it feel like a premium.Substantially heavier than your average Ni-MH batteries.Wouldn't blame Amazon on the count numbers, just seems Panasonic has an issue with counting batteries or something.

The batteries are quite exceptional! Where it lacks is the fact that I bought the enelooo pro rapid charger that comes with 6 AA and 6 AAA, and even though the packaging was unopened, it was 2 AAA short.

I've used other brands but Eneloops are the best. Some reviewers complain about missing batteries in the package as compared to the product description. They're all there, the AAAs are just stacked on top of each other and not laid out across the box leaving some slots empty.

This is a great product! It charges batteries very quickly and is a reliable way to save money on batteries. Everyone should use this and save on buying batteries

The Eneloop chargers and batteries are always great, but the plastic case and especially the insert that holds the batteries and charger in place is laughably cheap. The insert is flimsy, yet holds the batteries so tight you almost need to pry them out with a small screwdriver or butter knife. I ripped the top wrap of a brand new AAA trying to pull it out with my fingernails. It's not that big of deal, since the case is basically included free with these power packs, but now I need to figure out a better storage system......which is what I thought I had already done with this kit.

These have been great so far. I use them in a lot of my smart home devices and kids toys. I had a smoke detector that was constantly beeping low battery a day or two after replacing with name brand alkalines. I haven't had any trouble since using these with it.
