These fans were a great replacement for my ASUS TUF705D laptop. My stock GPU fan was really noisy and vibrated loudly at startup. These fans I don't even hear until you open up a game or something more graphics intensive where they'll spin up faster. Then you only hear the wind rushing sound. They do come with thermal paste for the chips and heatsinks, but I used my own Noctua brand thermal paste.

I installed the new fans and cleaned out the heat syncs, my laptop is sooo quiet now, even on turbo.

I own an FX505DV, and after about a year of ownership, the righthand side fan started making a horrible grinding noise that made using my computer somewhat unbearable. I ordered these replacements from hk-part, which fixed the issue with the stock fan, but after two months the grinding began again on the new fan. I attempted to contact the seller about a replacement, but I've received no reply. It seems like a ball bearing issue, and it sounds like a distant weed whacker. I don't believe that these are "new" fans; They are likely salvaged from systems that had other issues. Caveat emptor.EDIT: Increased rating because the issue disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared, but still disappointed that the seller never responded. Caveat emptor to other buyers that these fans can develop a horrible bad bearing/grinding noise if they are set to run at full blast for an extended period. Make sure to update your BIOS.EDIT2: Lowering score to 2 stars. They finally failed permanently, not as a quirk of the BIOS. The grinding and vibration is now constant. I'm forced to purchase yet another set of fans from another seller. These lasted only 5 months.
