Great V90 Cards
These cards are fantastic for recording high quality videos and burst photos on newer cameras like the Sony a7iv. They are UHS II and you can tell that with the second row of pins on the back of the cards. They are backwards compatible with UHS 1 as well so you can use them in older cameras like the A7III that don’t support UHS II and still take advantage of faster offload speeds with compatible SD Card readers.Speeds claim to be up to 300 megabytes per second on read and 280 on write and they have a rating of v90. The v stands for video speed class of 90 which means they will support a sustained write speed of 90 megabytes per second. This is the important number because when you shoot video you want a card that can keep up with the high data rates that are being written, or else your recording will randomly shut off. Other cards that advertise a fast speed have a lower v rating like v30 or v60 can tap out and bog down when shooting in higher bit rates.i did a Speed test with my 14” MacBook pro’s built in UHS II card reader and i got around 250 on read and write on average. I’ve been shooting primarily in the XAVC S 10 bit codec on the a7iv and it has been working great with no recording issues. With some slower cards it was allowing me to record 10 bit but recording would randomly stop when the cards could no longer keep up. You can record all of the different codecs except for XAVC-S I recording in 2x slow motion. You can get around this by recording in XAVC-S and choosing 4:2:2 mode to still get very high quality video, just not as high as the XAVC-SI.Angelbird makes these in 64, 128, 256, and 512 gb configurations and the prices tend to fluctuate a lot depending on what sales are going on. I recommend finding them on sale.

A good card for as long as it lasts, but be aware that Angelbird does not do warranty support.
Angelbird produces some decent products at appealing prices, their cards seem to be pretty reliable, as do their readers. They offer firmware updates for their media (you need to buy on of their readers to do the updates though) - and thats good, and unusual. However what they do not do, is interact with or service/support customers who have a warranty issue. Be forewarned that getting in contact with Angelbird is a known near impossibility. Their emails simply black-hole, and their phone rings forever without so much as an acknowledging message.Angelbird markets themselves to appear like a 'with it, customer focused' company that's great at customer support. That side of it is nothing but marketing fluff. I've talked to many independent cinematographers and photographers who have never been able to get a single word out of their support department no matter what the situation; and I'm currently in a similar boat right now.Just please be aware. Their cards and readers are decent - soemtimes better than the other brands - but just do not expect to ever be able to contact support in case of failure, or to have a device or card repaired/replaced under warranty. It's not that they'll deny the claim, it's that they simply will not respond to you with a single word whatsoever. It seems that their policy as a company is to never interact with customers, while claiming big 3 year warranties that they'll never have to make good on, because they won't even talk to you.

Not compatible for transfers to my app!!
Is not compatible for transfers to my app. My Canon XF605 has this card in slot A however the media is not able to transfer to the recommended app on my phone. It just says slot empty. Do NOT buy! Extremely disappointed!!!
