Q: How do you zip this thing?

I just put the connecting halves together and zipped it right up. It was pretty easy.

Q: How long can you keep it plugged in? Is it safe to keep it plugged in all night? 24/7? What's the recommendation?

The Pet Bed Warmer in this product is safe to be plugged in 24/7. When the cat is not laying in it, the heat just dissipates into the air.

Q: Some of my cats like to sit on top of my dome beds, crushing them, and ruins them for the others. So, are those beds “crushable”?

Yes. My cats do the same. It's not hard to uncrush the top at first but it gets harder with every sitting

Q: Is this thermostat controlled?

There is no thermostat. It is just plugged in and left. The weight of the cat helps it warm up. I put a small, familiar, thin blanket it ours and the cats really love it. It is really warm and cozy.
