My son is in college now, but his freshman year we purchased this case for his Chromebook for high school. He utilized this case for 4 years and when he turned in his Chromebook his senior year, the administration was surprised at the condition it was in. Even though he had dropped it many times, and crammed it into his backpack, it held up so well. I was so impressed that when our daughter started her freshman year 3 years later, we bought one for her too! Our son started college this year, so when he turned in his Chromebook, we kept the case as a backup for our daughter. We probably will not need it as this case is amazing!!

My son received a chromebook for school this year, and I wanted to get something to protect it since he's only 5, and accidents happen. This one fit perfectly, and we. An still use it in tablet mode. Make sure that you're looking at the right model; it is the 2-in-1 school edition chromebook that he has. I wish it came with a screen protector, but that isn't going to change my rating. The teacher was able to easily install it while it was at school. Very happy with it! doesn't make it too bulky.

EDIT: I’ve changed my review from 2 to 5 stars because the seller was kind enough to reach out and explain to me that the case I bought was for a slightly different model than the Chromebook I have. So the poor fit was my own fault for not reading carefully, doh! This case is NOT for the 2-in-1 3100 model so be aware of that before purchasing. The seller has another case specifically for the 2-in-1.As another review stated, the case I got fits the bottom, but the top panel wouldn't go on no matter what I did. It's slightly too small. This was a Christmas present for my son. I have 2 stars because the bottom panel, at least, went on without an issue.
