I'm 43 and 5'3 and 125lbs. As a child that grew up I the 80s through the 90s in poverty these were the holy grail of toys for me. Now that I'm an adult I had the privilege of buying them for myself as part of my personal self improvement life coaching program and let me tell you, I have had more joy from these than the children who would rather play with the box. A grown woman bouncing down the street laughing so hard I need a box of tissue for the tears, and pain meds because I'm old. My friends want them. Thank you to the maker for keeping this relic alive. My inner child is forever 💛 happy.

I’m an adult, roughly 140 pounds and had an absolute blast with these. Always wanted them as a kid so I bought them for myself now that I’m a working adult with my own money to spend. Super fun to bounce around in even though it terrified the cat. Worth every penny.

Size is a great size. You have to assemble yourself per weight of person using which is easy to do. Fun for kids however the fun last a day.

One night I was drunk and having a conversation with my husband about toys we always wanted but never got. Obviously moon shoes were at the top of my list. I decided that I’m an adult and I can buy them if I want. So into my cart they went.There was some trouble during shipping and I didn’t get them for about two weeks.When they came, I instantly became terrified of breaking an ankle and I can’t do my job on crutches, so I hid them in the garage and told the kids not to touch them. I forgot about them.Well last week I was looking for something and stumbled upon them. My family was still sleeping and what ever I was looking for was not nearly as important as facing my fear and getting on these bouncing shoes of joy.It took me about half an hour to get them assembled. I put on my gym shoes and went to strap these bad boys to my feet. My size 9 shoes were far too large for the provided space so I decided to ditch them and go in my socks. I stood up ready to bounce my morning away before I actually had to parent. And with a smile on my face and excitement in my heart I stood up. Only to quickly sink to the concrete. Apparently a 37 year old 140 pound woman is a little to big for one set of rubber bands.Not to be defeated I added another set of rubber bands and gave it another go.Holy crap. These things are fun!!! I bounced around my yard for about an hour, taught myself some really sweet jump, and did a lil dancing in them.I waited for my husband to wake up so he could see all my cool tricks. And then I took them off and demanded for him to hide them and never ever allow me to get on those things drunk.I can only imagine I would blow out a knee or worse if I were ever to wear them without all cylinders firing.If your looking for a lil nostalgia and you’re sober. But them! They’re fun.If your kid is asking for them. Hard pass. The $30 you spend on the shoes will cost hundred on medical bills. These are basically death traps for your feet and there’s not a chance on God’s green earth that I would ever let my kids play with these.

These were advertised as being like having a trampoline on your feet. Nothing could be further from the truth and I would highly suggest that if you’re considering buying these to not do so.First of all, the directions are very difficult to follow and the bands are sometimes difficult to put on and they can get holes in them easily. Secondly, there’s no way that these will work like a trampoline on your child’s feet in any way, shape or form. They will have better luck just jumping up without them being on at all. This is, to me, completely false advertising. The only thing these moonshoes will do is give a little extra height to your child and have a bouncy feel as they walk around with assistance from someone else. Whatever you do don’t use them on concrete. If you just have to use them then do it in the grass. Even so, these shoes are completely useless for what they are advertised as being able to do.

Not at all what we were expecting. Installed rubber straps at 2-different tensions, same result = poor. There is very little "bounce"...it's more like a lumbering, plodding along hoping for a viable jump...or something to happen. Was purchased for a tall 7yo, but maybe these work better for an older child, teen and/or adult? Will never know bc they were returned for a refund.

Works great - add additional bands for more strength
