Great value book set
Bought for my nephew last Christmas. Such great book, my daughter has read them all and loved them so was delighted to get the box set.He has read all the books now in March and loved them and has gone on to buy the newer books that have come out.I think they great books to encourage children to read as lots of doodles in the page and very creative fun stories

The kids (8 and 10) LOVE these
Got a recommendation for these books and have since passed on the favour to friends and family. These are engaging, hilarious, well written and illustrated. The kids just can't put them down! They are trying to read them in bed at night with the chink of light from the hall - that good! Couldn't recommend them more - my kids are 8 and 10 and have read all Roald Dahl, David Walliams, Tom Gates, Captain Underpants, Dogman etc. My only problem now, is what next?? So I have order Terry Pratchett and Percy Jackson to try and fill the void I know is coming when they finish all 9 of these, and I have pre-ordered number 10!

My son loved them. Ridiculously hilarious stories.
Great books for 7-10yo’s I’d say. Ridiculous storyline, but very entertaining.

Perfect for 9-10s
The next step after David Walliams, Horrid Henry and Dirty Bertie. Our 9 yr old is loving these books.

Short, funny and engaging
Bought for a book-avid 7 year old but the 5 year old also picks these up and ha a go at reading them. They look big and daunting in length for young readers but are chock-filled with good illustrations and there are only a few words per page. The 7 year old gets through a book in a day or two or serious reading, though these are so silly (in a good way) and funny that I imagine they will be re-read again and again.Highly recommended

Son devoured these
My 8YO loves these books and devoured them. I hear him giggling while he reads them, which is joyous.
