This oil is a very hydrating oil. It is 100% sesame seed oil without any added scent or preservatives. The scent is very delicate and safe to use on the face. With continued use it has reduced my fine lines and wrinkles. Leaves my skin well hydrated and soft. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and will continue using it. The small bottle will most likely last me for 6 months or longer.

A month ago, I started using sesame seed oil daily, instead of my body lotion. It's so lightweight and moisturizing. My skin never feels greasy. And I'm moisturized all day. While my skin would tolerate no oil during the nadir of eczema outbreak, this sesame oil was the only one that brought any relief to my cracking-dry skin during the ascending and descending phases surrounding that nadir of suffering. Free of any outbreak now I'm benefitting from the richness of this oil that absorbs well. It's scent is significantly milder than the roasted variety of sesame oil but it still does smell of sesame seeds so I apply it to wider areas at night and restrict it to problem areas in the day. But if you want to aim for the Chinese version of ​9 1⁄2 Weeks this might be the ticket.

The product has an extremely strong sesame oil smell, it is definitely not a mild, light odor. It’s great for your skin if you don’t mind smelling like you’ve been frying in a kitchen all day.
