Only crimps Sz12 out of box
This crimper only crimps sz12 contacts out of the box. You will have to modify a positioner or make one to crimp sz8.EDIT: After contacting the seller/manufacturer, they were able to help with providing the positioner for my application. If you need to crimp SZ8 contacts, contact the seller and work with them before you purchase this item. They are extremely accommodating and helpful if you give them a chance.

Good tool
Tool works well. Wish one of the three pin locators was big enough for an MC4 PV male and female connector. Will have to drill them out.
