Works as advertised. Really good on larger cables

It wants to spiral instead of sit in the groove it's cutting, so I must keep pressure to keep it from moving laterally while spinning it around the wire. But it works better than any other stripper at not nicking the wire.

I used this on 2 AWG and 2/0 AWG cables. Works great after you get it adjusted.

Very very disappointed! I should have read KHAN's one star review before I purchased this horrible thing. I purchased this based on a Will Prowse recommendation, but not sure I can trust anything he recommends now.I struggled for 30 minutes trying to practice strip one 6awg wire with all the problems "Khan" describes in their review. I finally used a box cutter and stripped the wire in less than 30 seconds.Useless piece of trash!

Saves time, easy to use. I don’t have to pull back conduit every day in industrial maintenance but when I do, I need to do it fast and this saves time. Would recommend for anyone in the electrical field.

I purchased this to strip solar cable but the interior jacket is way too tough for it to cut. I would not work for this purpose. I also attempted to strip some 2/0 welding cable but it would not cut the rubber jacket at all. Now, that being said, it is possible I just have not figured out how to use it. Videos I have seen show that it can be rotated around the wire several times then you can remove the cut-off piece. Not so with the wires I was dealing with. It might work when used laterally, where you simply split the insulation for the length desired. I have not yet tried it that way.

This tool works flawlessly when stripping large fine stranded battery cables. It does take some set up for each different wire size and insulation thickness, but once it’s set correctly, it doesn’t nick any conductors. It even works well on multi conductor SJ style cord, for removing the outer jacket.
