A little pricey at first but worth it. When compared to running conduit and fiber between buildings, this is a whole lot cheaper. Take your time to align it and use a solid mounting surface. The better job you do at installing the unit, the greater the speed. It is worth checking the monitoring page once a quarter to see if signal levels have dropped substantially from high wind or building sag which necessitates re-peaking the dish. I only wish I could power it off of my unifi switches but power draw necessitates the included power injector brick or perhaps a different power managed switch. Oh, don't forget some good shielded cable and the right connectors unlike the attached photo which was a temporary install as proof of concept.

Relatively inexpensive radios to provide close to a 1Gb wireless back haul. Very easy to setup. My only issue are their durability. I’m lucky to get two years of use before they seem to crap out. Could be the sun beating down on them, rain, etc. but I’ve used more expensive radios that lasted many years longer in the elements. That being said I still buy these almost exclusively because while they are lasting they run great.

Needed the 24ghz because too much noise in urban setting. Rated at 13 Kilometers, it wouldn't make the shot. Had to go back to a 5ghz temporarily, but throughput is diminished for noise. The 24ghz seems to work well at 3 to 5 miles. I would not push it past that.

Worked beautifully to extend our network to a neighboring building and provided the network speed needed. Some might say overkill for what I used it for but when you factor in the speed needs, the smaller units just would not have measured up. I highly recommend Ubiquity products. They are incredibly easy to setup and they just work. This is my second install of Ubiquity products for our company. Also setup three of the UniFi AP AC access points spread over two large buildings. This is the best speeds we have ever experienced.

So far so good. I am getting over 700mbs duplex over this short hall wireless bridge. It has replaced a leg of my MPLS which is currently costing over $2000 per month. Technically and financially this makes nothing but sense.

Not a world version radio as advertised. This is US only.
