Perfect Pup Protection
I recently purchased these dog steps for my dachshund, and they have been a fantastic addition to our home. Given their long backs and short legs, dachshunds are prone to spinal issues, so I wanted a safe way for my pup to get on and off the sofa and bed without jumping. The steps are sturdy yet lightweight, making them easy to move around. The height is perfect for a dachshund, and the non-slip surface gives my dog confidence when using them. It took a little training, but now my dachshund uses them with ease. One of the best features is the gentle incline, which is much easier for dachshunds compared to steep steps. The quality feels durable, and they don’t slide on hardwood floors, which was a concern for me.Overall, I highly recommend these steps for any dachshund owner looking to protect their pup’s back while giving them more independence. A great investment in your dog's health and comfort!

I wish I had bought this years ago. Dog loves it!
The media could not be loaded. I have four dogs, three Chihuahuas called Bruce Fleur and Coco, and one Cockapoo x Lab, Rosebud. Fleur is 8 and absolutely tiny, she has never ever been able to jump onto the settee unaided. The others come and go as they please, but we’ve always had to lift her up. At night time they are all allowed to sleep on the settee on blankets, and if Fleur gets down at night for a drink or to do her business, she stands and barks to be back onto the settee, til I come downstairs. There are occasions this has happened two or three times a night, she’s a little madam!I’ve seen the steps so many times and was a bit hesitant to buy, after reading mixed reviews. it came up on a special deal and I just decided to go for it.I was surprised when they arrived at how heavy and sturdy they are, we put the cover on which fitted perfectly. It’s washable and very thick with really good grip on the actual material and on the bottom, which I would imagine would work on carpet - and works very well on our laminate floor.it took about half an hour to train Fleur to jump up and use the steps, we placed treats at the top and refused to pick her up so she had to make her own way up. Very soon she was bounding up the steps, which was lovely to see.I have a fantastic video of all of them using it because the others have started to use them even Rosebud, who is far too big, but they are really sturdy so I think they’ll be fine. It’s quite funny to watch. However, this video shows Fleur using the steps and gives a better idea. (You can only upload one video)She’s really happy she just runs up now and in the evening I’ve been leaving them next to the settee so she can come and go as she pleases. it’s been a really great investment. I am absolutely thrilled to bits. I wish I had got these ages ago. Fleur is now fully part of the gang and doesn’t need to be lifted up! Amazing!! Highly recommended!

Wonderful stairs
I really had a hard time finding stairs, as I found most of them too expensive or they came from China (one of them I found out too late and the item also got lost on the way - different stairs) so I came back to this one. Delivery was super quick, was easy to assemble and I was very impressed how sturdy it actually is.Our dog is only 16kg, but the stairs could definitely deal with a lot more weight too.Cat loves the stairs as well.I think I paid around £60, and although I feel it is a bit much for what it is, it seems to be a good price compared to other steps. We had those stairs for 6 months now and I cannot fault them at all, and they do get daily use, but no rips, no nothing. Can really recommend those.Edit: I had those stairs almost 3 years now, they have daily use from the dog (now 2) and they are still like the first day. No rips, no sagging, foam is as dense as it used to be. Can really only recommend

Not as advertised. Not fit for purpose
Avoid-dont waste your moneyMore like 1 and 1/2 , rocking step. No good for anything. Would give zero stars if couldNot fit for purpose.See photos taken after 55hours or being unwrapped.Foam is not flat on the bottom so rocks and unsafeCan see once in the cover how poorly cut the foam is.The colour received wasn't even a colour option available! The cover have nil issue with but foam step is awful. Will be returning.

Supportive steps for dogs
The gentle curving slope on these steps make them much easier to traverse than hard square steps - particularly if your dog's body is longer than their legs (eg shih Tzu, daschund). The sponge is soft enough to avoid being harsh on their paws (like plastic steps would be); but also stiff enough to support the weight of my 9.5 kg dog without the paws sinking in (which would have made it more difficult for him to walk). The photo shows the level of the top step in relation to my bed (The Platform Bed by Get Laid Beds, and an Emma mattress, if you want to think about height), and my ageing Shih Tzu Lhasa manages it well, although there is an adjustment period as his habit of trying to jump or crying to go up or down (for a drink in the middle of the night, say) is needing to be broken. We're at the stage now when he uses it in the middle of the night (oh the difference in my sleep! It's amazing!) But sometimes needs reminding to use it during the day when I am not well. This is an expensive item but in terms of the value I get with better sleep, less crying (of us both, lol).If they made a larger one with a platform for window-viewing, I'd be interested in buying one. As our dogs age we want to make their later years as happy and comfortable as possible.
