A lot of fun and they didn't break
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for a sledding trip to Adventure Mountain in South Lake Tahoe. (Very fun place if you are in the area) The sled park has 16 groomed runs and you can sled or tube. This is relevant because they charge $10 per sled for rentals. I picked these up here for $35 for the 3 so $11.67 per sled and we got to keep them. That's what I call value. The sleds worked great. On the groomed runs they were fast; sometimes too fast to control on the steeper runs. All 3 were used all day (6 hours) and none broke. I even rode myself and crashed at 6'1" 195lbs and it survived.I think any plastic sled could break if you hit a bump right, but I don't see these as cheap or cheaply made. They are just right for the price and the kids loved them. Attach a rope so they can pull them around and you have all day fun. They crashed many times and kept on going.

Complete junk, two sleds cracked the first hour of use
We bought these sleds for my 9-year old son to use during our snow days this year. 2 of the 3 sleds completely cracked, one getting a giant hole in the middle of it during the first hour of use making both unusable. The 3rd sled of the pack hasn't been used but the plastic is just thin, weak, and brittle, so unless you plan to go very gently go down a small hill at slow speeds it is a waste of money. If you are looking for an alternative, after these broke I ordered the AGPTEK 47 Inch Snow Sled on Amazon, which I would recommend as an alternative. While more expensive, the plastic is MUCH more durable . My son used it multiple times already on the bigger hill (with jumps, crashing...etc) and it held up perfectly and should last for years.

Great sleds, great value!
I was worried when I bought these sleds that they might suck - the only reason I could think of that they came in a 3 pack was that they must be poorly made, and will break easily... But this is not the case! They seem sturdy, and fit me and my son easily. I am really happy I got them, and I think the value is great. Next year when my son is old enough to sled on his own we will have one for him, one for me, and one for my husband - so now I'm glad I have 3! The only downside to these sleds is they don't come with string pulls, only holes for them. So you will need to add your own string. Not really a big deal.

A great bang for your buck!
I bought a three pack for my boys. We live in the south and it NEVER snows here. They have (plus my wife and myself) played on them for three days straight. It’s been a great time. They’re the perfect length for kids and adults. They slide well - but it may be beneficial for a place to actually hold on to. The sleds can handle a lot of weight, but they lack durability after the snow isn’t “soft” anymore. My only recommendation is that they’re a little thicker - other than that, we love them! Will likely purchase again if we get snow a second time!

Great value, fast...but better for kids.
Bought these for me and my beer drinking friends in advance of last week's big snowstorm. We had a total blast using them, but they are not indestructible. The cold makes them brittle, and keep your feet and knees out of them. Just find a big hill, sit or lie down and have someone give you a big push. We inadvertently found a 3 foot dropoff which was the ultimate demise of all three sleds. We were finding pieces of jagged blue plastic in the woods a day later (ok, we were sledding at night the first time and didn't see the dropoff). The upshot is, you can stack them together as they start to come apart. Have some duct tape on hand; some nice long strips on the bottom and covering cracks, and you've got at least another 30 minutes of sledding. They really fly on a nice steep downhill. Steering takes some practice, best achieved by using your hands as rudders. All that said, these are perfect for little kids but adults need to take it easy, or do what we're going to do next time, and find some aircraft grade aluminum bullet shaped projectiles coated with a non-nutritive cereal varnish, and take to the neighborhood slopes once again. Bring the snow!

Very good alternative to the old, heavy wooden/metal sleds
I bought these last season for our kids (3 yo, 2 yo, 1 yo). The term 'lightning' is actually used by Paricon's marketing deparment accurately! Below is a summary:-SPEED-Yes, these sleds are fast! Almost too fast. I love them fast but one time when I put my 3 yo son on a small slope, he went way faster and farther than I expected, barely missed a tree, and went through the slats of a wooden fence (I know, I was a top candidate for Dad-of-the-Year)! Lesson learned. Definitely too fast for my little ones to use alone so I have to ride with them.-FUNCTION-They work well on different types of snow. Since the bottom is flat (unlike the tracks used by traditional sleds), even deep snow is no match for this. The only gripe, and it's a small one, is that you feel every unsmooth snow patch of imperfection on your rear end.-DURABILITY-Seems durable enough but I've only used them for one season so far. I'll update this review if any cracks appear over time.-BRING-BACK-UP-THE-HILL FACTOR-These are obviously lighter than the old school wooden sleds. Although they fit under my arm, it's much easier to just pull them behind you. Since they are so light, the bonus is that you can even pull your kid back up the hill as well. It would have been nice if ropes were included for each sled so I didn't have to borrow one from another sled.-VALUE-Good price for three sleds (~$12 each). I would be slightly annoyed if I only have one child but I actually need multiple sleds.
