Great suitcase!
I traveled all over France on a wine tasting trip with this easy to maneuver suitcase. I had a shoulder bag as well that fit nicely on top. It was easy to lift unto and off of the train racks. It held all my things for an 11 day trip. I really like the outside sip pocket for easy access for books scarves pills and cosmetics. I like the color too. I can carry it on or check it. It’s held up well for 2 years.

Did not disappoint….
This suitcase is very well made! I had been doing a lot of research on the best bag to take on a European trip. Level 8 ticked all my boxes.1. Price point was spot on.2. Dimensions included wheels and handles( beware some don’t) and it fit well within the requirements.3. Stylish color and look.4 Attention to detail on inside construction5. Most importantly the wheels were said to roll well on cobblestone. ( And they certainly did)I just returned from a trip and cruise to Italy and Greece. Packed enough clothes and toiletries for 2 weeks ( not an easy task but with lots of planning it can be done) wore everything I packed most things twice and did 0 laundry. Nothing got dirty or stinky but glad we didn’t stay another week! lolThe zippers on the bag are smooth zipping and lock securely into to top lock.Fully packed my bag weighed just a tad over 23#’s.I did pack one change of clothes and a pj in my personals bag, but the suitcase was my main storage. The wheels were a dream on rough cobblestone streets. The handle felt nice and sturdy. The front flap storage pocket might be great for those traveling with a laptop but I did not use is except for paperwork as loading it with things does limit the amount of interior packing space. My only issue( no fault of the bag itself) was the last day of the trip I loaded my suitcase with my personal bag attached to the trolley handle , onto a bus… the ride was chaotic and the bags tipped over. Someone tried to lift both bags by grabbing the personal bag and slightly bent the suitcase handle. No significant visible damage but I was then unable to lower the handle back into the suitcase. After working on the internal mechanism (inside the zipper area in the bottom of the suitcase) I have been able to lower it back down except for the last inch and a half.I am currently contacting Level 8 to see what can be done. This is a great bag and I love it ! Would definitely buy another Level 8! Wish they made them lighter. Most bags empty run in the 610 pound range. This one comes in at about 6.9-7.9. Not horrible but every little bit helps when going thru security.

Love this carry on!
Hands down, the best carry on I’ve ever owned. Beautifully designed and constructed with quality. Easy to identify, I’ve had this carry on for a little over 3 months at this point, taken an unreasonable number of flights, and I have yet to see another one in any of the airports I’ve been through. It easily holds 4 days worth of clothes and toiletries (for me, everyone packs different). Would definitely recommend for frequent flyers and I will be purchasing additional for the family.

First Impression
Update: 11-11-24Well I have to say I am very impressed with the Customer Service at Level 8! I contacted them upon return from my trip and more than 1 year since purchasing my luggage. Once I provided the proper documentation and answered a few questions they sent me a new piece of luggage. It so happens they didn't have the same piece that sustained the damage but asked if I would like the more expensive model instead! Within days I received it! I updated my rating based on their customer service alone.Update: 9-11-24I’m about halfway through my trip and already this luggage has sustained significant damage. The corner guards are bent and beat up, the lock is broken on one piece and considerable scuffs and scratches have been made. It is light weight and pretty easy to handle but thus far hasn’t held up to the abuse from baggage handlers. Pics to follow on my return. My first impression was that this 3 pc set of Level 8 Luggage was packed extremely well! Each piece has its own dust cover bag for storage and were packed one inside the other surrounded by foam wrap. Upon inspection all zippers and locks work and there is no damage to any of the pieces. All wheels are functioning and corner guards are attached well. I’m not familiar with hard sided luggage so I can’t attest to what is considered durable at this point. The carryon has an expandable compartment adding about 1.5 inches to the depth of one side. It also has a separate compartment for a laptop or tablet, chargers etc. seems well thought out. A nice size for one person on a 2-4 day trip. The medium size should hold enough for a 5-10 day trip, the large is for the long haul! I purchased these to replace older soft side luggage and for a 24 day Alaskan trip. I expect to take heavier clothes and multiple layering items. The large size might be too much to handle will consider 2 medium size bags and the carryon. Update to follow post trip.
