These are awesome. My kids play with them on their own and make tons of creative shapes that you cannot do with Lego. When they add them to Lego creations, it opens up a bunch of new possibilities. Much like how Technic pieces expand on the Lego blocks, these do a similar thing at a much lower price point.

My son who is autistic especially loved these. They work with legos, too! I love the variety in color, too.

Provided fun family time for me and my 12 year old nephew to build something together. It was nice doing something other than playing video games with him. I followed up weeks later and he said he was working on building something else so he's still using it! Fantastic Christmas gift I'd say!

My son is 7 and has ASD. He LOVES building with his legos and I took a shot and got these for him and he loves them. The things he creates with his imagination with these are amazing. They are super small so they are easily misplaced, but well worth the use we have gotten out of these.

I ordered these for a long road trip and let my 6 yr old daughter try them out before we go. She likes them and wanted to keep playing with them. I wouldn't be too happy if I recvd one with no lid handle or key chain, as others mentioned. The keychain is for opening the lid, just like a paint can. The people who complained about difficulty getting them opened may not have recvd the keychain? As for building with the Brix, you kind of slide them together. It is tricky. I didn't realize the medium set does not include black. My daughter was immediately asking for black. I wished I had gotten another color set. Maybe I'll get more for Christmas.Update: these were great for our road trip! Probably occupied my child for 90 min- 2 hours in the car on a tray. She has also played with them several times in the week following our trip. Will def order more colors in the future.

I bought a set of these for my 10 year old for Christmas. My 13 year old and 16 year old loved them so much that they each bought themselves a set with their Christmas money. They each bought a different color so they could mix and match. It’s amazing, all three of my kids will sit together and play with these. It’s the only thing that I have found that they will do together.

I absolutely love this product. My original order came with the paint can lid off thanks to Amazons not so wonderful packaging in a smaller box than should be used. The pieces were everywhere and the box broken open like the driver crushed it under a heavier box. Amazon quickly handled the situation and before I could blink my best friend had a new one sent to me so I could complete my project with no worries. I wish I had taken a picture but these little pieces of joy were amazing to work with. I had a specific project in mind when ordering and had planned on using legos to complete it but randomly came across these in my hunt for perfection. I couldn’t be happier! My child uses the extras to creat 3 dimensional farm animals, mystical creatures and more. This is a must have for any child who enjoys creating masterpieces.
