can't really tell if these are deterring foxes or not, cos I got an infra-red water jet repeller at the same time.But their flashing red lights work great as dummy burglar alarms! Am going to get a couple more to put inside shed windows.....

Left in full daylight for almost longest daylight of the year to charge solar battery. Nothing, zilch, no light, no nothing at dusk/night. My request to supplier, apparently Milo Enterprises Inc, for some comment/explanation resulted in nothing, zilch, no response, though I suspect that they may be laughing uproariously at flogging another customer a dead horse. One star because you have to tick the box. I wonder if the foxes that it was supposed to deter have had a laugh too.

Bought these in the summer to deal with animals visiting and destroying the garden. It's now October and they still work - as in charge in the day and flash at night, so that's a good thing, I suppose. Sadly though, they - DON'T - deter any animals, not in our garden, anyway. Not cats, not badgers, not deer, which we bought the lights for, so pretty useless for the purpose they are sold for. I guess they are intended to simulate a predator's eyes, but the flashing frequency is too fast and regular for that. I am also not aware of any animal with red eyes, so perhaps not exactly convincing for our nightly garden visitors, that's if they even have colour vision at all. They definitely are all quite undisturbed by them, whether close by or further away, whether at eye level or higher up, the lights have no effect on the animals whatsoever. Luckily, they don't bother the hedgehogs, either, in case anyone is wondering.Since they are no use for anything else I might try them in the front to see if they will perhaps at least stop the odd overexcited dog running onto the property during its late evening walk, instead of staying with its owner on the pavement outside. I've not tried these lights with dogs yet, but I don't hold out much hope.

I put both of them on the bottom of my steps. I watched on my camera the fox started coming down the first step until it saw this! It quickly ran away out of my garden.

Wanted to deter foxes but this product does not work

We have these positioned in front of our hutch just two feet raised and it keeps cats etc away at night.

I liked the description of the product and the look and although the eyes flash and are described as a deterrent, they don't really work. Good idea, if the foxes didn't come near.

Good Product for my Garden....so far, no deer sightings. These were priced right ...just don't forget to pull out the small tab from the battery compartment when first using the lights. Thinking of ordering more!

für 19,90 EUR 2er Pack gekauft, die Teile haben verschiedene Seriennummern. Eines ist defekt. Zurücksenden ist mir zuviel Aufwand, deshalb nur 1 Stern. Hat ein funktionierendes Teil mal eben das Doppelte gekostet :-((

Er werkt er maar een van de twee tot mijn spijt.
