This chair is exactly what you want at a great price. I recommend replacing the casters.

The levers did not work, so you were stuck in a forward leaning position. And the armrests were too easily moved.

This is my third Aeron chair. The first one was a prize I got about 20 years ago. Every 3 years or so I take it outside and hose it down; it will look like new again. I bought the second one new in Amazon about a year ago for 1200. This one looks brand new. No signs of any usage, even the casters were pristine.Watch out for the chair size: I did not see any mention on the product description. The Q&A states it is the B size, you may want to look for the size table in the manufacturer website for proper fit.I strongly suggest you to replace the casters for ones that resemble rollerblade wheels; the original ones, like any office chair, are quite hard on any unprotected floor. It is easy and cheap.

Arm rests slip down a bit every once in a while, but great chair for the money considering what these go for new.

I purchased this chair from this vendor about a year ago. The chair was in good condition. I went to an Herman-Miller factory store to make sure I was ordering the correct size. The arm rests on this chair do not lock into place, they slowly move over time and have to be constantly reset, this is the smallest issue. The back of the chair isn't adjustable at all except for the sliding lumbar support, which is worthless. The BIGGEST issue is the seat, it collapses and creates pressure points at the front and sides, this leads to hip issues and cut off circulation in the legs. This chair is OLD technology and has a false positive reputation. Look it up on reddit as other uses have the same issues. Sitting is bad for your heath because of cut off circulation and this chair makes it worse than usual. Don't fall for the hype, Aerons are garbage.

Chair is sturdy, but because of the missing cover it looks ugly. Be aware that you may be missing pieces.

I have had this same chair at work for years, and love it. The “refurbished” chair arrived in “like new” condition (not a scratch on it anywhere). Assembly was super-easy - just had to position the back and screw it together with four bolts provided. Great value for the money.

This is basically the same chair I had when I worked in an office. For 2 years working from from home the old banker's desk chair that was good enough for my day to day home office work and once a week from home was not good enough for 8+ days, 5 days a week. Within a couple of days with the Herman Miller Aeron my back and hip pain went away.
