Great pan, sure to disrupt your diet plans!
The pan is well made and was easy to season (I did 500°F for 1 hour, if yours is still sticky bake longer, check every 20-30 mins. Don’t bake with handle attached) and easy to assemble. The middle hole seems to get a bit hotter during the actual cooking, so fill that one last. I’m not sure if this differs depending on the type of stove you have, we have a glass cooktop. We’ve followed the included recipe and it was hard keeping our hands off of it before the batch was all cooked.Attached pictures are post seasoning. Note that the few unseasoned patches on the rim are from where the pan laid on the oven rack. These patches filled in later after we cooked with it the first time. Also, the first parcel got lost but the manufacturer sent a replacement immediately, thank you for the great customer service!

Great pan.
This pan woks perfectly with our new LG Induction Range. It is very heavy and replaces our old aluminium pan that does not work on an induction range.

Great pan! Fun once you get the hang of it!
The pan is good quality cast iron. You will need to season it before using. I had to watch several YouTube videos on how to make aebleskivers and it took me a few times to get the hang of it but once you get the technique it was pretty easy and fun to experiment with. The most popular were the ones filled with apple pie filling and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. My only issue is with the handle. A wood handle seems like not a great choice for cast iron. The pan gets super hot and starts to turn the end of the handle black. I'm not sure how long it will hold up to repeated use.

Easier to use than expected; Impress your friends.
Aebleskivers are a unique Danish dish--spherical, possibly stuffed, pancakes. We purchased this pan to make them at home. It was simple to put together (the wooden handle screws on to the cast iron base). It would be sturdier if it had been a single piece of cast iron, handle and all, but it seems sturdy enough. Time will tell.As other reviewers observed, it did outgas a horrible smell the first time I heated it up. I was prepared and heated it several times to smoking, with the windows open and exhaust fan at full speed. This is the reason I did not give it a full 5 stars.Once the pan was ready to use, and after perusing several videos on how to make aebleskivers, I was ready to give it a try. I did not use quite enough oil in my first round, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. It was much easier than I expected to get comfortable with the technique of giving each pancake a quarter-turn, resulting in a fluffy, spherical nugget of goodness. I used the recipe that came with the pan. There are many other cultures which have dishes that are prepared in a similar pan. I look forward to trying some of those recipes as well. I appreciate kitchen utensils that are not one-trick ponies.

Great product, exactly as stated.
I really liked the pan. I made chocolate filled and blueberry filled pancake balls. I plan to make rum jelly and bourbon chocolate to make an adult dessert ball.

Trash product!!
Its an awful product. I have never bought anything as awful as this aebelskiver pan. And customer service is just trash because no matter how(email, call, leaving an enquiry on their site) you try to reach them they will not respond.I bought this pan alongwith Lodge cast iron skillet pan. This pan was not preseasoned, lodge pan was seasoned. I have seasoned both many(10-12) times but this one, more times because it was not preseasoned. I have tried cooking so many things including aebelskivers in it but everything sticks in it and gets ruined. I have wasted so much food in this pan.I figured out the problem with it, its very thin so it gets very hot resulting in stuck and ruined food even if you keep heat on lowest.I wanted to give this pan a chance to get seasoned properly which takes time so couldnt return early and now my return window is closed. Complete waste of my money.

My daughter's new ableskiver pan resembles my well used pan after just the first use. She couldn't be happier and I couldn't be more proud!
