Made adding connectors easier while still looking professional
I'm old and old school but the last time I did a bunch of ethernet connectors, I found it frustrating and often with errors. I'm just getting old I guess ... these pass through connectors made it much easier by being able to double-check my work before crimping. I threw on about 30 end without a single mistake.Quite pleased with this product and with the strain relief boots, everything looked professional.You will want a pass through crimper/cutter if you don't already have one.

When I pull these out on the job, everybody’s looking. These connectors are quality. They’re easy to use. I’ve never Failed on crimping one of these successfully, because you get to check the wires after you put them through! So when there is a problem in line, that’s going all through a building, at least you know that it’s got to be one of the punch downs, because the RJ 45s are solid. That saves a lot of time.These are great, and for the price I haven’t found anything better. They also sell Crystal strain only foods for these those goes on perfect make it look even more professional.

Makes some good looking cables
Purchased the RJ45 connectors along with the strain relief boots to rewire my network rack with some 24AWG CAT6 cable. We actually use Platinum Tools RJ45 connectors and their boots at work and these provide basically the same end results.As I mentioned I'm using this with 24AWG Monoprice CAT6 cable (B003L14YKM). The strain boot is INCREDIBLY difficult to put on, its a VERY tight fit. When it comes to actually sliding it up to the RJ45 connector its even a tighter fit where it slides inside of the RJ45. It works, but after making a lot of cables your fingers get sore QUICK! We use 24AWG Stranded and Solid Core cable at work and have some of the Everest RJ45/Boots for old CAT5 cable. When putting the boot on those, if I don't hold that boot it goes flying onto the floor.Outside of the incredibly tight fitting boots, everything else about these connectors are great. They give a really clean "professional" finished look to the cables that I enjoy.

Worked as expected
Great for home use. Worked with my Klein pass through crimper. The colors look cool and for small projects where you want to color code some items instead of having to order mutipacks of different colored cable, these ends work great!

Poor pin design can lead to intermittent failures
The connectors will not provide good, long-term reliable connections due to the pin design.

This is the best ethernet connector design I've seen....!
This is really the best ethernet connector design I've seen, as a network engineer. Real easy to be SURE you got the colors right. Just be sure to snap the strain relief boot in BEFORE you crimp it. If you do it like that, the boot is really secure and will not slide down ever. Well done!
