Great for recording speaking, not good for recording live music
I bought this to record a live show of one of my favorite local bands, and I’m very glad that I tested it on the opener because this microphone is wayyyyy too sensitive to use for live music. It was great in my tests of just speaking though! The iPhone built in mic did a much better job of recording live music.

Not sure I can tell this difference in sound quality quality
Can’t tell the difference in sound quality with microphone vs just iPhone. Also doesn’t work with an otter box case. Will work with the apple MagSafe case.
