It's great, just not for large koi!
I was looking for something to catch some koi with to give to a friend, but this wasn't it. Koi are smarter than we are because they jumped out before we even realized they were in. lol I'm sure this works great for "real" fishing. It is quality made and lightweight. We eventually were able to catch 3 of them, but it took 3 of us hoomans to do it. :)

Well worth the price
I've had this net now for a few years. The net has held up just fine. Hookless, extendable. The cork is finally wearing out, but again I've had it for 4 years now. Worth the price.

Sturdy and compact
For my needs this worked. I fish occasionally both while sailing and from the shore. The light compact design makes this easy to stow on the boat as well as carry easily while hiking to a more remote shoreline.Over all, while use has been very light, its held up well. For use on the boat with a freeboard of around 4ft the handle is short but Im okay with that compromise for now.

Solid net.
I bought this to bring crabbing because my son lost my other one in the water so needed one that floats. This one definitely floats and is a great net for crabs and small fish. I wouldn't suggest this net for any larger than 4 or 5lbs.
