Not only are the cups beautiful, but the packaging was so secure there was no issue with breakage. These were perfect. Am ordering a second set.

I love these teacups. I bought them to replace some cast iron ones that were practically unusable because they got so hot, but for the price I did not expect these to be so pretty or well constructed. They look exactly like they do in the picture which is rare, just as shiny for one thing. They're really heavy and feel like good quality, and came in a nice looking box w/ handles that would be nice for gifting. They're also the perfect size (I worried they would be too big, I wanted the smaller traditional little teacups) they fit perfectly in your hand. I will say they still get pretty hot BUT they have much thicker ceramic toward the top so I just fill them up like 2/3 full and it's generally fine.

The colors are beautiful, the cups are wonderfully made, and they add style and beauty with each cup of tea you enjoy. I feel the rating 'easy to hold' is unfair, the cups are cast Iron after all, which transfers heat and so they are very hot and you must be careful. That being said, the shape is wonderful and makes holding them easy; you just have to be careful as you would holding anything hot. I want to give these to everyone I love, as they bring me such pleasure just having them in my environment.
