Love. It's hard to find patches with only menthol and capsaicin. Also the Gel sticks well and way essayer on my skin.

Ive been using these patches for about 2 months. I received 3 boxes of 6 patches, 24 patches total. Good value. Ive used 20 so far and not one bad patch.These are a nice size patch and are usually enough to cover my problem area. I need to have someone else put the patch on my back for me; you really need 2 hands to be able to apply the patch smoothly and then press it down firmly for a few seconds. If it is not placed on the skin wrinkle free it will become loose and possibly come off. This is not a product defect, just the nature of the materials. When put on properly it feels almost like a second skin. They hold well at work, even on my most active days.Patches give off good heat for a good 6-8 hours... i have woken up in the morning and still felt traces of the heat. The combo of the heat and the cool tingling from the menthol are very comforting on my lower shoulder blade pain. Salonpas do not take the pain away, but they do dull it and comfort it.

Very difficult to use, will not buy again, like the heavier variety; it is much easier to use

I have used this type of product from different brands and in different styles, but I think this one is the best. Unfortunately, I’ve been having trouble finding it for sale. It has great durability and stays adhesive for a long time.

All Salon Pas products work. They come in every size for different needs and they even have a roll on. I have a variety of options at any one time. I have stretchy ones, ones with heat. Non stretchy ones that stay on no matter what. Tiny ones for back of my neck and ones with menthol that seem like they absorb deeper, really get to the deeper aches. Love this product!

The ingredient in this patch that causes the sensation of heat is menthol. No, it isn't the same as actual heat from a heating pad. For those with extra sensitive skin it cah cause skin irritation especially when pressure is applied i.e. lying on one's back with the patch across the lower back. A back injury caused herniated discs that required surgery in 1977. Chronic back pain can be difficult to treat and depends on the cause. Oral medication can be helpful BUT there are side effects that need to be considered. What has proven both safe and effective for me (as effective as possibke) is 500 mg Bayer Aspirin® and applying the patch before certain activities such as vacuuming. I also use the Salonpas 4% Lidocain® patch. I'm six months past that three quarters of a century mark (sounds a LOT older than 75 ; ) and beginning to develop arthritis. The Salonoas® patches are markedly better for me than anything else I've tried.Both the gel and Lidocain® patches affects users differently. From my experiences, I'd give them a trial!
