Very very nice reel.. so smooth.. strong body frame with attractive design..

I have only used the reel twice, I just got it. So far it has worked flawlessly. I got a 2000 and the size is perfect for my rod. Handled several 12" crappie, a 13" bass and a couple of 15"-17" pickerel. I can't speak to longevity, but I hope it holds up, its a nice, smooth reel.

For the price this reel surely cannot be beaten for performance, quality and styling. Performs and handles just as good as the best in the class costing 3 and 4 times ( or more ! ) than it. Excellent.

I am in no way an expert, having being fishing for little over 6 months, however this reel is an incredible value for money.I originally purchased it as a cheap replacement for a broken reel that I found attached to a discarded combo .The original combo had a broken handle and I guess the original owner simply decided to dump it on the jetty instead of taking it home and fixing (the rod wasn't anything fancy but was still perfectly functional).Got the reel, loaded it with mono backing, braid main and fluoro leader and voila. The thing is a little beast.Casts well, is really smooth, decently built and has since then become my main reel, replacing the Shimano Sienna FG that I used in my main rod.Kudos for Piscifun for creating a good quality reel at great price. Had I not found this reel the discarded rod would like have finished in the landfill instead of being used in some of my latest catches. :-)

These reels are fantastic for the price.They are smooth, quiet & well built.Comparable to a Penn or other more expensive reel.I ordered another slightly cheaper reel from a different manufacturer & let me tell you, the quality jump you get for literally a couple dollars more from this brand is unmatched.Are you looking for a good & affordable freshwater spinning reel?Buy this one.
