The height adjustment is broken after 1 week of use
I got this chair because it supposedly boasts a 400lb max weight, I am a big guy at just under 280, I got the chair and was putting it together when I noticed that the instructions say max weight limit is 300 lbs, I am under that so I wasn't too peeved by it... literally a week in and it will not hold the height adjustment I need... I probably should have known that with the price there was no way it ACTUALLY boasted 400lb weight limit as those usually run up around 500-600$ but the fact that I am under the weight suggestion and it didn't last more than a week is frustrating beyond reason.

Extremely firm gaming chair.
Only buy if you need an extremely firm gaming chair. And only get the Plus version (unless it's for a child.)Otherwise just get a high-back executive cushioned office chair on sale from Walmart or Office Depot (try not to get Chinese ones as the pleather will fall apart very fast.) For this Atelerix chair, only buy the Plus version, do NOT buy the regular-size one as it's too small (which is the exact same flaw as many other budget gaming chairs like the Homall Gaming Chair, they are simply far too tiny for an adult man to sit comfortably in.)To fix the squeaking - buy a lemon oil spray and spirtz all inside the center stability cone once a week or so. To fix the firmness - buy the following: 1) a foam seat cushion (actually stays in place surprisingly well due to bucket seat frame,) 2) a back lumbar support cushion, and 3) XL foam armrest supports (be sure to get 11" large size.) Sadly, the neck pillow is still way too firm, but no option seems available aside from the ugly Razer headrest that may not even fit correctly. See the attached photos for how I remixed the chair.I'm giving it five stars ONLY if you need a super firm gaming chair, and only if you buy the Plus version. I sincerely hope Atelerix fixes these issues, as it's genuinely a gorgeous chair (I love the design) with brilliantly adjustable armrests. I recommend Atelerix to try and include much softer cushions, either built-into the chair or as separate removable ones.

Complete Junk!
Given the price point for this chair, I didn't expect it to last forever. At the time of purchase, I figured it would last at least a couple of years since it's for my fourteen-year-old son who spends two weeks a month with me.Primarily used for distance learning (prior to the return to in-class learning) and gaming, this chair only lasted around four months. Full disclosure - My son is on the larger size for a kid his age (5'8", ~160 pounds), but well within the officially supported weight for the chair. My advice is to spend $50 more and get a GTRACING ACE M1.Buyer beware!!

stop lying this chair aint fat people friendly.
This is not worth the money. If I could give it no stars, I would. I bought this chair in June of 2020. Around July 2020, one of the wheels broke. I ordered new wheels. After 6 months, there is no cushion left in the seat. Today one of the legs on the base completely shattered while I was sitting in the chair working. With the description boasting that it could hold up to 350lbs, I thought it would be a good investment. I lost $200 on a chair and gained a hurt knee and thigh!!Please do not buy this chair.

Horribly made cheap parts!
So far first day of work and so much better.Easy to assemble and is a nice comfortable chair. I'll write 1 after a month.... very good customer service 👏So I had to get another chair within 6 months the chair literally fell apart. The bottom metal broke in half the arms got loose multiple times and the chair is so noisy. Customer service is great when you don't ask questions. The women told me that she has never seen a customer have this much trouble. I said well let me ask them for help. Would you like a copy of the manual she asked in very sarcastic way. So all and all I would not recommend this chair and is not that comfortable after long term use by long term I mean 6 months. The 2nd chair they sent is even worse then the first one! Do not buy this chair.
