Our cousin's daughter (8 y.o.) has been thoroughly enjoying this book series - this made for a great birthday present!

My 7 almost 8 year old DEVOURS these books. Heidi Heckelbeck feels like a real girl to her and she loves the stories.

My daughter is 6 and in 1st grade. Her reading level is like a 5th grader or higher. But she is still only 6 years old so finding chapter books that aren't to mature for her isn't easy. She loves Heidi Heckelbeck because it has pictures and not all words. We will be buying all of Heidi Heckelbeck collections. She loves to read 3 to 4 chapters at night so we are flying through these books!
