Q: Does this trunk have an o-ring seal on the lid?

1919 has 4 latch removable lid and o-ring, 1819 has 2 latch hinged lid, no o-ring.

Q: Would this hold up if secured to the rear rack of a 4-wheeler/ATV on bumpy terrain?

One of mine has, it rides on the back rack of my Yamaha 400 big bear. I have several of these sportsman totes and they still surprise me as to how tough they are. They will probably break, but if tied down solid where they can't bounce around, they will do a good job.

Q: What is the outside width of the bottom? The are conflicting measurements in the answers here. I need it to fit in a space 14" x 46".

Looks like it is... Exterior - 37.75 in. L x 14 in. W x 18.25 in. HInterior - 34.75 in. L x 13.5 in. W x 16 in. H

Q: How is it airline approved since it's over 62 linear feet?

External dimensions given seem to add up to 70 linear inches, and even the internals add up to 64.25 so I guess with its odd shape the smaller base and everything else that juts out might be enough for the airlines to let it slide? I don't know exactly but I've never had an issue and I've flown with this trunk every year since 2015.
