Excellent product, but pricy.
Very nice tea. Wish they sold it in bulk so I could refill the can instead of buying a new one each time.

Expect a white tea taste
If you've read other reviews, you know this is a very mild green tea taste--which is exactly what I was looking for. I actually love silver needle white tea, but was disappointed in the quality of the last silver needle I bought, and my favorite tea shop (actual brick and mortar shop) closed, so since silver needle is so expensive, I decided to try and find a green tea for health benefits that had a similar taste. I like black tea, I like white tea, but I do not generally like green tea, as it tastes too bitter to me (even brewing as directed). First, these leaves look really green, not all dried and brown like a lot of green tea I've seen. When brewed as directed (not boiling water but 180 degree water, for 2-3 minutes), it gives a very light white tea flavor. I had hoped to find a green tea just like this, but wasn't holding out much hope (especially given how questionable Amazon has become in terms of genuine products), so I am beyond thrilled with this tea. In terms of people commenting on the price--if handled correctly, you can use green and white tea leaves for multiple steeps, so a container should last a long time (when done this way).

Delicious!
While I cannot substantiate any claims that have been made about this product, I tend to believe it is a more natural and less contaminated product based on my lack of reaction to it. I have an incredible sensitivity to caffeine. Coffee, green tea, and energy drinks can just mess me up. I can have a headache and nausea or just feel icky. I am the only person I know who will want to go straight to bed from drinking too much caffeine from a headache and upset stomach. i need some stimulant in my life so I was told to switch to espresso (it is less acidic than drip) and to try white tea with less tannin. These seemed to work but not consistently until I began to piece together that it may be a common pesticide or other treatment chemical that causes my reaction. Certain brands and certain products make me feel fine. It can be very specific, like I reacted to one style but not the other style from the same company (but perhaps the different roasts and bean cultivars are grown slightly differently with slightly different practices and slightly different conditions). This particular green tea has yet to cause any discomfort or adverse effects even when consumed on an empty stomach. And the taste is the same pleasant, slightly nutty flavor I have come to expect from Dragonwell.

TEA CANISTER ALREADY OPENED WHEN I RECEIVED IT, CALLING INTO QUESTION GENUINENESS OF PRODUCT
The tea I ordered came in a tin which had been opened, the seal having been broken when the top of the canister was apparently twisted off: as the top fits tightly to the canister this clearly wasn't accidental. I have no way of knowing whether the tea in the canister is the tea I ordered or some substitute. As Dragon Well is a Chinese tea, and in view of current trade difficulties between the U.S. and China, it seems entirely possible that what is being sold by Golden Moon as Chinese Dragon Well tea isn't that at all. I am hugely disappointed by the seller's deceptive practices, having seen that others leaving feedback have also received opened tins of tea. I've enjoyed Golden Moon teas in the past; great way to lose a customer. I consider Golden Moon to have suffered an eclipse.

Strong aroma, and pleasant taste.
I have gotten into teas recently so my experience with tea is mostly buying cheap teas from super markets without getting a pleasant taste or smell from my tea. I love drinking tea without any added properties such as honey, lemon, or sugar.I simply love the raw taste that tea provides, and the smell. However, the teas that I have boughts at super markets weren't great and mostly due to the region I live in so I am limited only to little choices.I decided to choose this tea because dragon well was mentioned on a top ten list of chinese teas or as currently known as Longjing.Keep in mind that most teas have their own grade value in the quality of tea as we all probably know or would know discretely.I researched a long time before making a purchase, learning about different tea qualities. Taking the time to buy a few cases of tea to decide the ones that are best in quality for me this is one of them that I have enjoyed and will be using and buying again. It's aroma is quite vivid if you are into tea smells and the taste as a sweet taste to it that leaves an intrinsic after taste that's both nostalgic and soothing.

This is some of the best tea i've ever tasted~
I've tried teas all over the US, i've bought and brought home teas from almost every major city in this country, some domesticated, some import, and your's here, are some of the very best! My favorite has to be your Rooibos. I used to be able to get Rooibos tea locally years ago, but the organic/health food store that sold it, went out of business for lack of customers. I was about their only one, and when they'd get Rooibos tea in, i'd come around and buy their entire stock of it. And you offer so many other nice teas as well, I couldn't help but look around for a few others that stood out to me, and I wasn't disappointed, these teas are so good that they require no sweetener at all to enjoy~There's nothing quite nice like fixing up a hot pot of tea to enjoy with my brother and friend, while we talk and listen to my olde Victor III gramophone late at night to relax before bed. Thank you for offering such wonderful tea, i'll definitely be ordering from you again~ ^_^
