Fantastic monitor, still with some downsides
Best 1440p/240hz IPS out there in terms of price. Pretty close to the Alienware AW2721D but has some advantages and disadvantages. The cheaper price is worth it over the 270hz Acer Predator GX.Pros over other 240hz/1440p:No retention, ghosting and artifacting at lower frames rates. No power brickLighter than othersNo obnoxiously large feet *cough* AlienwareGreat colourConsNo 10bit colour at 240hzBGR instead of RGB - makes small black on white text an eyesoreNo usb cAudio popping when using the built in audio jack. There is a beta firmware update that helps the issue but it's still there. No built in g sync module (however no issues so far with it)

Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q-P - Moving from 60Hz 1080p to 165Hz 1440p AMAZING!
You wont ever go back to 1080p again once you have this amazing monitor.109ppi too, the picture is crisp and sharp. You will wonder how did you put up with 1080p.Simply put this monitor is excellent, no regrets, in fact I want another one for dual set up.The On Screen Controls are easy to use, via the joystick in the middle.G-Sync compatible, make sure you update the monitor upon installation, latest is F03.The monitor is a quality build too, also comes in a sturdy cardboard box that will not damage your monitor while in transit.Enjoy screen tearing FREE gaming! BTW Doom looks and runs amazing!

Pc gamer perspective
Coming from a IPS Sony 32" 60hz tv it was time to leave 60fps behind. I will be comparing my expirence to my Sony.Pc spec5900xRadeon 390x (yes I know...GPU shortage)64gb 3600mhz ramPicture qualityNot used to the wide colour gamut so everything to me looks over saturated, but the colours pop like my oled.Back light bleed is to be expected,it is edge lit so if you are sensitive to that you could by a oled or mini-micro led panel for silly money :)I am very sensitive to ghosting and black light bleed...I can't see any. This monitor is freesync premium pro which is also g-sync compatable. (LFC) low framerate compensation is a feature I wanted to try. This has dragged my 390x to 100 FPS in flight sim, not true 100 FPS but I can now play the game :)To get the full fat 170hz follow the below guide.I hooked up my monitor to DPRight click Windows desktop --> display settings -->advanced display settings --> click 144hz (windows will only max out at 144 in a desktop environment)On your monitor head to the overdrive setting,I chose speed.Open your fav game and change the refresh to 165 or 170hz.I hope this has given someone more insight as at the time of this review I can't even find a review on YouTube or Reddit

Impressive display. But expected a longer cable for the usb c for the monitor
Pros:display is impressively brightIn my opinion the colours are great and no issues with image quality.Cons:1m usb c cable is basically useless if you pc is not right beside the monitor. For the price point I would rather pay an extra 5-10 euro for an extra 1 metre of cable length.RGB is nice but quite dim and seems to not work some of the time if that would bother you.Overall I it's a good 4k monitor for the price as on sale I got it for just over 700 euros

Great for next gen
Takes a little time to calibrate as out of the box the picture quality isn’t great, but one you have your settings dialled in the screen is amazing. 4k 120 fps, hdr (only hdr 400).

bit weird after having a curved screen
good monitor. if you plug the usb cord into it from your computer you can adjust all the settings which is so much easier.

Probably the worst monitor I have ever owned
Full disclosure, I picked this monitor up on a pretty nifty sale, something like 60% off or so, thought it would be quite a steal, but oh boy how wrong I was after nearly a year and a half of use. It's safe to say my old BenQ monitor from 2013 is still so much better than this thing.Where do I even start on the issues here? The motion is absolutely horrible, like it has vaselline smeared all over the image itself, it has some really nasty artefacting at times which is further compounded with the terrible motion. In fact the artifacting gets bad that the monitor itself freezes frames in large portions of the screen, but not the entire thing, which makes gaming especially cumbersome. A lot of the time it just completely refuses to turn on even when I'm clearly pressing the button to turn on, well the monitor turns on but it refuses to display the image until the 4th or 5th try at times - it gets beyond atrocious sometimes. It's baffling to me how this thing can be this dreadful, even the imagine quality looks blurry when looking at a still, either I have a defective unit and that's how I got it for a big sale or standards for monitors in the past 10 years have gone way, WAY down. The only good thing I can say about this monitor is when it functions, it's somewhat tolerable, and that's about it.Just don't bother with this thing, seriously.
