The A and C wires are swapped when using as a straight Gen3 extension.
The media could not be loaded. I needed an extension harness to wire a cam signal, I installed the harness and the wires were swapped, car would not start, then I checked the wiring, the middle wire is ground ref and the 12v supply and signal are on the outside. So for an extension to the same Gen3 sensor they are swapped. In the first picture I'm holding the sensor end in the same orientation. I only had to swap the one end if it needs to be said. This seems to be a change from the gen3 to the gen 4. So if you use it as a Gen 3 extension only you have to swap the wires. As an extension to a gen4 sensor it should be gravy
