The moment you pick the hat up you will be disappointed on how cheap it feels. It feels one step above a paper hat you can get at a donut shop. I am honestly afraid to wash it because it might not come back out in one piece.

I would have given it a 5 star if it didn't have the distressed spots on it. After 22 years in the US Army, loose threads and fraying doesn't pass inspection. But, a little fingernail polish takes care of the fraying. It is a comfortable hat. Ordered another one for casual. NEED TO ADD ARMOR INSIGNIA. I'd buy another one.
