Roebic Foaming Root Killer - Quantity 6

This product was recommended to me by a plumber. We have a mature tree in our yard and its roots did get into our sewer line once. Since then, we've used this product every couple of months to prevent the roots from finding their way in again. It is important to flush it down just before leaving the house for 8 hours or more so it foams up and sits in the line. (this has no impact on the rest of the tree)

This house is not new and with the system that was put in umtpteen years ago I have to contend with tree roots. I don't know if it does a lot of good, but it I can avoid one trip from the plumber, that will easily pay for the 6-pack of this. Call it insurance. I don't know that it helps, but it surely doesn't hurt.

I had plumber clear tree roots 3 times before I found this product. Used the foaming root product 4 times a year in sewer line. I also drilled 12" deep holes in the ground between the tree and the sewer line and put a few ounces in each hole. Going on 5 years and no backup because of tree roots. Have in the last 2 years used once in the spring and once in the fall. Worked great for me.
