(But not watercolor pencils; I hate watercolor pencils, and they stay in the tins because they're a MESS.)I'll say I didn't TRUST this to have and carry without damaging my favorite items, so I went slow. Now my favorites (pencils, pens, gel pens, etc) are in this lovely book! There's plenty of space between the pages so the pencils aren't BANGING against each other: STURDY FIT!I think I'm going to try to sew a pocket into the left-most end page to hold erasers and sharpeners and "tools", because my tools don't fit the special elastics. I guess they would, but I think a little "pocket" would be more helpful there (especially for files, blades, and kneaded erasers), although you can stick a fat brush in those for getting rid of eraser gunk or shavings, which is handy.I love that I think I CAN sew something into this. That's pretty sturdy, because I cannot sew!Sadly, I might have to order another one. The pens and pencils slip out so much more easily than I had imagined (I mean they're held tightly, but a tilt of the book lets you easily poke out the pencil or pen you need). This imo is far superior to the roll-up styles: I can turn pages and don't hear the sickening sound of pencils slapping together. That zipper bit is what keeps everything in place without touching: excellent design! A+ (Also, feels like leather; looks like a purse. Very fond of it.)

I bought this for my Arteza pencil set that I purchased some years ago having added colors since then. This case is the perfect solution as it allows for numerous pencils (or pens, etc.) to be added, contains them securely within 3 zippered sections. Elastic is snug but not too tight to remove pencils. I can use this in my lap which is a bonus for taking on airplanes, trains, etc. that I couldn't do with the original tin box. I don't have to worry about breakage if dropped - the case is secured and cushions well. Great value and the best Amazon purchase I've made in over a year!

Lots of room for all my fondant sculpting tools! I was easily able to modify the case to fit my tools that are larger than a pencil just by seam ripping some of the elastic to enlarge the loops. With three large zipper compartments, I have multiple options how to organize my tool set. The fabric is durable and wipes clean. The wrist strap is handy, and part of what makes the case so convenient and easy to carry with me as I go from one work station to another. The construction of the interior is well structured, with hard cardboard underlay so it does not feel flimsy. The color of the pv is nice and bright and makes me happy just to look at it. This case is the perfect size, not too big but holds a lot inside.

I love this pencil case. The slots are the perfect size for regular pencils or colored pencils. (markers will not fit since it is not made for markers) So far, it seems to be well made and durable, plus it's very nice looking. The zipper seems sturdy and works smoothly, and the metal zipper pulls are very nice as well. I have traveled with this case back and forth to my classroom several times, and it has held up perfectly so far. As of right now (October 2019), I would highly recommend this for yourself or as a gift. I will update my review if anything changes.

Nice bag but the markers did not fit in the elastic loops.

Bought for my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and it holds all of them! Even has a few extra spaces left for more pencils if your needing a little extra! (About 4 extra slots to be exact) The case material looks pretty easy to clean up if it happens to get dirty or something spills on it, and it's not difficult to open and close once all the pencils are inside. All in all, great product for portability and storage!

I bought this case for my 72 pack of Prismacolor pencils. The extra spaces were used for pens and accessories. The pens did take up more room than pencils. This isn't an issue as this was made for pencils. This is a hardy, attractive case. I was able to organize my pencils exactly how I wished, without worrying they would fall out. The zippers allow each compartment to be opened separately. This is a sturdy case that will protect my rather expensive pencils and allow me to travel with it. I highly recommend. As a matter of fact, I intend to buy another for my art pens.Update: Jan 2021. This case has worked out so well that I recently purchased another as a Christmas gift. This time I purchased the black option. This one is identical to the previous. The previous purchased have stood the test of time. Very highly recommended.

I am happy with my purchase. It holds all my colored pencils, graphite pencils, brushes and extras. I love the teal color. It seems to be well made and durable. It might be a tad bit too thick for travel, but I did want something that held everything I would need and I think it will still work well. It definitely streamlines things when using it at home.
