Easy install
I’ve never installed a thermostat before, this was easy. The local auto parts store wanted over a $100 for a thermostat and housing for my 2006 Silverado, so I bought one online for $18. Draining and flushing the coolant system took the most time. Removing and installing the new thermostat took about 20 minutes. I didn’t remove the belts just used a piece of aluminum foil under the old housing and routed the old antifreeze to a bucket. The new thermostat opens at about 195 degrees. Works perfect!One less thing.

Mercedes thermostat
Worked great. The first time the needle was a little jerky getting up to operating tempature. But worked great after that. Comes with a gasket. I love to feel my heater finally. It's very hot. Hotter then the sun!!
