Surprising quality for cellulose paper!
This paper really surprised me! I bought 2 pads of the premium paper to experiment with techniques. I used a lot of water in my interstellar clouds painting and while it warps quite a lot, it dried flat pretty well. It took a lot of abuse between heavy wet washes, multiple layers, tons of brush strokes, lifting and blending, and drying with a hair dryer without pilling or destroying the texture of the paper. I actually enjoy the canvas like texture of the paper and the paints moved around better than on other cellulose papers I've used, like Canson and Strathmore. I only have one negative, which was my tape did come off a few times during the painting process, but it may have had to do more with how much water and heat the tape was taking so this may not be the paper's fault. Would buy again!

Nice, heavy paper
Heavy duty water color paper. I'm a beginner, but am very impressed with the paper quality.

Good watercolor paper and a good value
I like this watercolor paper. It has 2 different textures on each page - one side has a deeper rougher texture and the other side is smoother. Good value.

Thick , great quality!
I wish my skills as an artist was as goid as the paper. Good price point.

Great except for glued edges
The paper quality was great, I decided to try Arteza’s watercolor paper because my usual brand increased in price. Overall, the paper is fine and has good texture. Sometimes though it seems like the paper struggles to absorb water in certain spots though, I’m not sure why. This paper pad comes with the pages attached to a glue strip (which is normal) but when you try to remove pages, which is what this pad is supposed to be for, it leaves pieces of the glue on the edge. I guess it’s not a big deal but for me it’s very annoying to have to sit there and try to pick off the glue. If you are a hobby artist or beginner I think this paper is fine for you.

Beginner Friendly!
I came across these watercolor paper-pads when I was on a search to buy art supplies for my nephew. He has always been artistically inclined so for Christmas I figured I would get him something to begin drawing or using paints on. The paper itself is a nice texture, and I can tell that it will be quite easy to paint on.Obviously, the price for a pack of two was something that I felt was very reasonable. Along with the quality of the paper I know that it will hold up well when my nephew starts to use It.

ARTEZA Watercolor Paper, Pack of 2, 32 Sheets Each, 9x12 Inch
I enjoy getting to know different papers, and have come to trust they all have something to offer if I am curious and open. I feel my art therapy process is greatly improved by experimenting and forming my own opinions based on my own experience and play. I like to have some "cheap" "throwaway" papers in my supply to help reduce my learned fear of "wasting" supplies. And guess what? I have painted some of my favorites on this paper because of how fearless I can be with it. How your artistic process combines with this cellulose (not cotton) paper will depend on your goals. I am healing through art, and I enjoy watching paints travel through water on this paper.PS, it loves being stretched (many videos will teach you how if you are interested), and will stay flat if that is what you seek in a paper. Reader, to paraphrase Vonnegut, art is how you grow your soul! Best of luck to you finding your favorite art supplies!
