I haven't needed to wash mine but if I did I would most likely wash it by hand or wipe it down with a Wet One or Clorox Wipe. I highly recommend this bag.

Q: What are the dimensions when the product is in use? I don’t see the measurements in the description.

12 x 8 x 7.5 tall. Empty Pockets are rather expandable . I had to devise a cover for mine since my smart kitty likes to remove items and run off with them.😊

Q: Can you put file folders in this?

its not very high. I don't think you would be able to put file folders in it without the handles being in the way.
