A solid EDC.
Came very sharp out of the box. XR locking mechanism functions well, but was a little gritty at first. Repeated manipulation of the lock (it's a very fidgitey knife) seems to have smoothed it out a bit. The thumb stud is very close to the body, which can make opening the blade in this way somewhat awkward. The blade feels a bit tighter in it's setting, so using the kick or flip tab doesn't flick the blade all the way open. I find I have to assist it by flicking my wrist a little bit to get it to fully open and lock into place. Continued manipulation may smooth things out a bit and could possibly make it easier in the future, but only time will tell. By far the easiest way to open the knife is via the XR lock and flicking the wrist. Because of the previously mentioned tightness, flicking it closed takes more wrist effort than I've had to use with other knives. The XR lock itself feels really solid and there's no play in the blade whatsoever when fully open. It feels very secure and I feel more trusting of the locking mechanism than I do with most liner and frame locks. The knife feels very solid in the hand. The G10 grips feel really nice and while they don't look very aggressive, feel reassuringly grippy. The jimping on the back of the blade and kick are very aggressive, almost to the point of being a hair on the sharp side, but I actually like it.I purchased this one (Olive Drab) as well as the Crimson model. While the models are completely identical other than color, I noticed that when closed, the olive drab blade was just very slightly off center. When fully open, it was very difficult to tell if the blade was off center to any degree. The crimson version's blade was perfectly centered when closed while everything above in regards to the knife manipulation and feel are very much the same.Overall, a very solid EDC knife that feels good in the hand and doesn't feel cheap and toyish. Priced well enough that I won't hesitate to use it for random tasks where a much more expensive blade might give me pause. Yet, I still feel confident it can get the job done.

Reliable and Durable Pocket Knife
A pocket knife is an essential tool for many men, and for me, it's a non-negotiable part of my daily carry. I once heard a Southern Baptist preacher say, “To be a deacon, you must carry a pocket knife,” and that sentiment has always resonated with me. As a disabled Army Ranger, I understand the value of a dependable and durable knife.I've carried this particular knife for over a year, and it has never let me down. Its quick-action opening remains as smooth as day one, and the belt clip has defied expectations—it hasn’t come loose, unlike most other knives I’ve owned. It also holds a solid edge, only needing sharpening about once a month. For a starting knife or an everyday carry, this one checks all the boxes.

I bought it again
That's right. I lost it. So I bought it again. Great daily carry. Fun to play with, holds edge well and handles abuse well. I love it.
