I bought these, because my daughter has a new husky puppy that loves to grab and chew on my arms. I am on blood thinners with fragile skin. These keep him from breaking the skin. He hasn't been able to bite through them. Just have to keep my fingers tucked in. He loves wrists, and these sleeves keep them protected without feeling tight or uncomfortable.

I am a speech therapist and I bought these to protect my arms and wrists from scratches and pinches with children I work with. They are very comfortable, lightweight and durable. They do not feel restricting, or cause me pain while wearing. They do their job in protecting my arms! I haven’t washed yet, but the material feels like it’ll wash and dry well!

purchased to support staff with safety for client with biting behavior. Has prevented skin break and bruising, however is a little shorter of staff than in images. I wish it covered more of the arm. It is difficult to find these in a large size, and fits in circumference but is a little short.

I bought these for my elderly dad to use in the garden. The older he gets, the more delicate his skin has gotten and after an afternoon of clearing brush he’d be covered in cuts and scrapes. These have solved the problem really nicely!

This product was to protect my arms while at work. I have very thin skin on my lower arms and can easily have the skin peeled or rubbed hard and cause bleeding. They are a great product and do the trick....however, they are rough to the arms when I wear them. They are uncomfortable to me. I still wear them, but I wish they had a softer lining to them.

My parrot bit me right through these and claws were the same. I have thin skin and thought I would try these to help save my forearm from my parrots talons. I tried a knife on these as well and the knife will go through the material. They are easily penetrated. These wouldn't save you from a toothpick. If you really need burn proof, cut proof or bite proof keep looking.Update :I tried wearing three of these over one another and this seems to help. I still wouldn't trust them to save you from a bite nor a cut. But wearing three would possibly save your forearm from a burn. Wearing 3 has discouraged my parrot from attempting to bite my arm when he gets spooked. However, after an hour it starts to get uncomfortable wearing all of them atop of one another.
