Darkside on 1999 GL1500 Goldwing
If you're wondering if this will mount up on your rim, it will indeed, with ordinary tire spoons and plenty of soapy water. It didn't look great when it first went on the rim, a bit distorted in the sidewall. When you get in on the rim, take your time and it will seat up on the bead with around 40 psi.One side seated then the other side after warming up the sidewall and bead with a heat gun. Dont rush it. It wasn't harder than mounting a Shinko or a Dunlop. I have yet to install it on the bike and expect to have to deflate it to fit it into place. The profile of the tire is nicely rounded and not as flat as when it's unmounted... probably due to the narrow rim relative to what it's meant for. It's more narrow than the Shinko 180/60R 16 SE890 I have (unmounted) and it's about an inch taller than the Dunlop E3 that it will replace. I'll update this review when I get a few miles on the tire, but so far it looks great and the traction should be amazing with my Escapade trailer in tow.

Highly recommended for Goldwing Darkside
This tire works AMAZING for a 'darkside' tire on 2014 GL1800. Speedometer is very close if not right on....I have run about 400 miles now and I haven't had any surprises. Tire is very quiet, and I am trying 41 PSI so far. I have yet to run on grooved concrete, but hopefully soon. Obviously it doesn't lean as fast as the stock G704 Bridgestone, but I'm not a road racer.....I have been down plenty of twisty roads riding 2-up and I found no issues with handling. I used 4 ounces of DynaBeads, and mounted it myself on a spare rim that I had, which was pretty simple to do with tire spoons and a lot of soapy spray. After you get both beads on, pry open a spot and dump in DynaBeads - don't bother trying valve stem. If you want to go darkside on your Goldwing......THIS IS THE TIRE!!!! DO IT!!!!

Love the wet and dry traction
First foray into the dark side! Mounted on a 2016 Street Glide. Love the wet and dry traction, both on launch and during braking. Still dragging and throwing sparks in the turns. 195/60/16 was nearly a perfect match in height and fits with a small amount of room (about 3/8 of an inch) between the drive belt and inside fender brackets.Update: ended up getting 27,000 miles out of the tire. I run 36-38lbs in it and do varied riding including a lot of 2 up lately. Great tire, I bought another when it was time to replace. Seems that as long as you take the rim off and go to your local dealer or bike shop they will mount it on the rim for you. They just won’t install it on the bike.

A little different review. (Darkside)
So, i didn't mount this on a car. I mounted it on a motorcycle. A 2002 honda goldwing to be exact. Im quite impressed with it. I had my last tire (a bridgestone BT) wear out in 8000 miles. I mounted this Kumho (what is known as darksiding in the motorcycle community) 5000mi ago and it is showing little to no wear. It handles no different than a bike tire. The day after i mounted it, a buddy and i took a weekend trip. I was draging my pegs all over the mountains of central Pennsylvania on rt 30. The rear of my bike felt sure footed as ever. If you are looking into darksiding...i recommend this tire as a good value starting point.

Great for darkside!
Mounted this as the rear tire for my '09 Electra Glide. So far it's worked wonderfully.
